ALOHA! With me, you will find an enthusiastic guide that loves showing you the amazing beauty of Hawaii. I am happily married with 2 kids, I love to surf, hike, read and honestly enjoy time with clients visiting Oahu and getting to re-experience the island with you. Before making the move to Oahu with my family in 2014, I lived in Japan for 35+ years and worked on the US military installations as a fireman for 16yrs. I hope you will come to rely on me as a cousin here in Hawaii that wants you to experience the awesome environment and food that Oahu has to offer. Feel free to change things up a bit as well, I can be as flexible as you need. I want to help you make the most of the time that you have with me. After moving to Oahu, I have had the opportunity to provide guided tours to thousands of clients as a Segway Instructor, Hiking Tour Guide, and lately a Private and Group Tour Guide. Through these experiences I have been able to gain even more to share and look even more forward to doing so. This tour will take you through Hawaii, with a quick visit to Japan, and also a taste of Hollywood! This route is a must-experience for anybody coming to Oahu. While enjoying the drive around the East Coast, we will make stops so you can FEEL and experience some of the best the island has to offer. Be ready to want to take pictures at the many stops along the way, and of course I will take pictures for you.
Jody was so friendly from the start. He has a unique perspective based on his upbringing in japan. We saw A TON during our tour. We loved that he started us out with fresh taro chips warm that we got to season. He added in several stops as we talked in the vehicle. We saw Obama's hidden home. We stopped at many beaches. Loved the Capitol building, palace, teenagers hangout, Dog the Bounty Hunter's home with Beth.. Fantastic tour, would recommend 100%. Thanks Jody!

Pickup at the place of stay *Drive through Waikiki and get a lay of the land. *Take a picture with Iconic Diamond Head in the Background *Stop by to Koko Head Marina pickup some Malasadas at Leonards Food Truck (Coffee too if you need) (optional) *Stop by Halona Blow Hole viewpoint *View the Koolau Mountain Range from Makapuu *If interested in going to see Kailua and or Lanikai Beach, we can rent bicycles from town to get there. *Go to the BYODO-IN Temple ($5per person entrance fee/separate) in Kaneohe and experience a hidden gem! Make quick stops at Mac nut farm and taste all the variety they have to offer. Stop and see the famous Kualoa Ranch for some souvenirs and a peek of the "Jurrasic Valley. " *Visit Kamehameha and Iolani Palace in downtown on the way back to your place of stay. And if you want I am happy to customize the tour for you. Please inquire for a quote.
