Charleston Historic District Orientation Tour

Six of us had the pleasure of taking a private van tour of Charleston with Tours by Locals, and our driver and guide, Linda, was fantastic! A fifth generation Charlestonian, Linda was not only a true southern bell, but we all felt like she had stepped right out of the golden girls! She was incredibly knowledgeable about Charleston, its history, and its heritage. One of the highlights for me was visiting the Citadel – I completely forgotten that was even in Charleston and it was fascinating to see and learn about the cadets. The three hour tour flew by! Linda knows Charleston inside and out, knows how to avoid the traffic, and kept the conversation going the entire time – which was a good thing because we learned so much along the way. All six of us – three women and three men – thoroughly enjoyed the experience linda made the tour, informative, entertaining, and memorable. We would highly recommend this toward anyone visiting Charleston!
