Hi, my name is Ariadna. In love with History, Art and good cuisine, I arrived to this beautiful city we've got on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, Seville. Being ambitious, I have always set myself goals and it motivates me to work hard. I have achieved my goals so far with my training, education and work experience, so I'm more than prepared to keep sharing all my knowledge with everyone who decides to come and visit this lovely city. Seville is one of the most interesting cities in Spain. It has a rich History and one of the biggest old towns, full of World Heritage sites declared by UNESCO; such as the Cathedral, the Royal Alcazar, the Archive of Indies. Places we can visit together since as a professionally qualified Tour Guide I'm allowed to guide everywhere that guiding is permitted. So you cannot miss it! Although Seville not only is History, but also has the legacy of the three great religions since in this city were living together Christians, Muslims and the Jewish Community. So still today, walking through the narrow alleys we can appreciate different remains that transport us to that century, to that way of life. 15th and 16th centuries gave to this city even more importance due to the Port of the Indies situated next to the Gold Tower at the Guadalquivir River. After Christopher Columbus arrived to American soil, most of the gold, silver and precious stones that later on arrived to Spain, would come first to this city, to this port; since the "House of Trade" founded in 1503 by the Catholic Monarchs had its seat in Seville. So this centuries were very important in order to give wealth to the city. 17th century was also important to Seville, but in this case, not owing to economical richness but because of the most influencial artists as painters and sculptors belongs to this century. In this city you can find everything you're looking for! And I haven't even mentioned the food! Simply fantastic! Antique Markets, pubs, bars, parks, magnificent hotels where having a lovely tea. . . Do not hesitate! Ariadna was an excellent tour guide! It would have been difficult to navigate the Alcazar and the Cathedral without a guide to show us the highlights and inform us of the history. She also showed us the Jewish Quarter and some nice restaurants and places to shop. Highly recommend!!
Ari is a superb tour guide: extremely knowledgeable on Seville history, with anecdotes and details that will astound you and make you laugh at the same time. She is attentive, patient, flexible, and fun to be with. I added the Royal Alcazar tour combined with her advertised 1/2 day tour, and highly recommend this for the deeper understanding you will gain. You will not be disappointed!
Ari was a wonderful tour guide for our group of 6! We so enjoyed her wonderful spirit and love for Seville. She met us at our hotel and walked us through the old Jewish quarter, the Alcazar, Cathedral and Giraldo tower -- and with each site shared her immense knowledge of the history on each. She was happy to answer our battery of questions throughout the tour. We only had one full day in Seville so we wanted to be sure to learn as much about the city as possible -- Ari was the perfect answer! We would highly recommend booking your tour of Seville with her!
Ariadna was absolutely excellent. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. She has a great knowledge of the rich history of Seville and Spain, and she shared it in an engaging and fun way. She led and toured three generations of my family (my 85 year old mother, my sister and me, and my 19 year old son) and managed to customize her tour to match our interests and tastes. She is smart and funny and charming.
Ari provided a half day private tour of Seville. She met us at our hotel and walked us to the Alcazar where we went through the rooms and were offered commentary of history and art. After the Alcazar we went to the Cathedral where she, again, provided explanation of art and history. She walked us through the narrow alleys of Santa Cruz quarter and offered excellent insights. She gave us a fun-filled, historical perspective of all we were seeing and doing. We highly recommend her.
Ari is fun, bubbly and very knowledgeable. She made our morning in Seville very special as we toured the Cathedral, Real Alcázar, and several key buildings, plazas and monuments around town. She even guided us to some recommended tapas bars at the end of our four hour private tour. We asked many questions, and Ari was an inexhaustible source of history and anecdotes. Highly recommended!
