As a historian I like to show the monuments of the city but I especially enjoy talking about our local culture. This is Sevilla, so we can talk about soccer, tapas, processions, flamenco, and of course, our wines! I like to visit places that normally are not included in the traditional visitor's circuit. Let me take you to the charming market of Feria Street, a cloister convent where to eat a sweet. The views from the other side of the river are beautiful, specially if you go during the "blue hour". I love to travel all the time. I have been in UK, France, Italy, Egypt, Frech Polynesia, India, Madison Wisconsin, New York City, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Croatia, Portugal, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Cerdeña, Córcega, Sicily, Ireland, Canada, . . . I got married in 2006 and have two beautiful princesses, Elsa (2012) and Emma (2017). History and music are an important part of my life. I am lucky to live in Sevilla but really lucky because my job it is to show you not only the monuments , the gastronomy but specially the soul of Sevilla. Overview of your Seville tour
We will start from your hotel or apartment a nice walk around the old city center. Our first stop will be a trip in a time machine, to the Alcazar of Sevilla. One of the oldest Royal Palaces in Europe still active. The variety of styles: Renaissance, Moorish, Baroque, Mudejar and Gothic make the tour really interesting. Popular movies or tv series have been filmed here: Kingdom of Heaven (Ridley Scott), 1492: Conquest of Paradise (Ridley Scott), and Game of Thrones season five (HBO). Time to get lost in the Old Jewish Quarter. Here we find plenty of charming plazas and narrow streets. I hope to share with you the beautiful legend of the young Sosona and the rich smell of flowers in the Santa Cruz Square. The end of our tour will take place in the third largest Cathedral in the world. A combination of an old muslim mosque and a christian church from the year 1434. I promise I will tell you all the truth about the tomb of Christopher Colombus - but only once we are in the church!
Your Seville tour itinerary
-The tour will last three hours and we will start at your place in Sevilla. -Then, we would start with the Alcazar, the Royal Palace of the city. *We will enjoy the exotic beauty of this old palace *A slow walk in the gardens. *You may think this is El Cairo, or maybe Moroco, but we are still in Sevilla. -We continue with a walking tour in the old jewish quarter. *Time to smel the organge trees, the lady night and the beautiful flowers decorating the narrow streets of the Santa Cruz area. *Time for a drink?, do you need a little brake?. There is no better place like a charming plaza in the old jewish area for that. -After the break, time to visit one of the largests Cathedrals in the world, the Cathedral of Sevilla. *You can not miss the main altar, *The tomb of Christopher Colombus, *The treasury and much more . . . -I will finish at the Giralda tower so you can climb by yourself the tower at the end .
