Overview of your Seville tour

Let's explore together the Alhambra Qalat Al-Hamra (The Red One) Located on a hilltop that dominates the plains, built originally in AD 889 (approx) as a small fortress with recycled materials from a Roman fortification. Then sort of abandoned until mid 1200's when the emir of Granada decide to use this location for his court and residence and he sent to build the palace and walls. Later converted into Royal Palace by the Sultan Yusuf I. Then after the Reconquista by the Catholic Kings it became the court for Isabel and Fernando. Unesco World Heritage since 1984. Abandoned for some time until the romantic explorers of the XIX Century discovered the beauty that lies under. Today it's the No1 visited monument in Spain. Located in a superb position dominating the plains. Explore the palace with a local and discover how muslims back then improved the quality of life in a way that we still enjoy today.
