Overview of your Seville tour

After your arrival at the port of Cadiz, you will be picked up for the 1,5 hour trip to Seville and enjoy authentic views of the rural landscape of Andalusia. During a 5-hour city tour with an architect & official guide who have lived in many parts of one of the most labyrinthine old towns in Europe, you will feel the essence of this land. Famous kings & queens have left their distinctive mark in a place full of history & legends, converting Seville into my adopted city since 2008! Must-see sites (Alcazar & Cathedral interiors included) with unique art masterpieces will capture your interest. A great chance to admire examples of Gothic, Mudéjar, Renaissance, Baroque & Spanish Regionalism style, while accompanied by an expert in historic heritage, interested in sculpture, painting & ceramic tile decoration. The cherry on top will be a re-energising lunch at one of my favourite local tapas bar to get the full Spanish experience, before your comfortable return to Cadiz!

We spent a port day seeing all the highlights of Seville with Vangelis. He arranged a driver from our port stop into the city and along the way, shared so many great bits of information and history. Another great tour by locals, this one by Van was no exception. Van met us in the rain at our terminal -we appreciated the impeccably clean Benz sedan and Andalusian playlist on the drive to Seville, and the umbrellas that he was thoughtful to provide. Van was very knowledgeable about history and architecture of the city. We enjoyed Van's humor, our conversations, and learning about daily life from someone who loves living in Seville. Lunch was enjoyable as well sampling jamon iberico y ajo Blanco.

Your Seville tour itinerary

Starting point: Cruise terminal of the port of Cadiz (Muelle Reina Sofia, 11004) After a one hour and a half drive you will be brought to Seville and we will meet to see the following landmarks: * 1929 Ιberoamerican exposition pavilions, drive by * Spain Square (Plaza de España), photo stop * Royal Tobacco Factory, pass by * Palace of San Telmo, pass by * Golden Tower (Torre del Oro), photo stop by the river with views towards the Triana neighbourhood and the homonymous bridge * Cathedral & Giralda bell tower, visit inside * Puerta del Perdón (Mosque's Gate), walk through * Royal Alcázar Palace, visit inside too * Santa Cruz district, walk through Before your way back to Cadiz port we will make a lunch stop at a tapas bar to experience the local cuisine! (Passport number required for tickets)
