Hello! My name is Abraham, and I am a born and bred Sevillano, guiding international visitors through my city as a full-time licensed guide since 2016. Showing visitors Seville, and giving them a first-hand understanding of my culture and my traditions is not only my job, it is my passion. It is with great pleasure and pride that I guide my guests through the beautiful streets of Seville, and the natural and historic highlights of the Andalusian countryside beyond. The story of how I became a tour guide is both a story of curiosity in my surroundings, and one of personal development. As a child, I loved nature documentaries which led me to study Environmental Science at the University of Seville. Graduating from my studies, I turned to explore another of my passions; meditation and self-awareness, and completed a Master's degree in Mindfulness and Compassion at the University of Zaragoza. Finally, feeling that I needed to improve my English language skills, I moved to the UK where I lived and worked in a Buddhist monastery on the edge of Scotland. On my return to Seville, I searched for a job that suited my personality, my skills and my lifestyle. The stars aligned, and I began working as a guide. It is since this moment five years ago that I have been dedicated to helping visitors explore and truly understand Seville, and Andalusia. What is it that I can offer you? Some of the things that I can offer include well-organized tours in my comfortable and clean 2018 Volkswagen passenger van, to various spots in the countryside; trekking outings through beautiful forests and mountains; birdwatching in the marshlands; excursions to various national parks in south-western Andalusia; and ambles through the inumerable charming villages across the region. Beaches, historic sights, wildlife, hiking, swimming and more; all are well within reach of Seville. Back in the city, I especially enjoy taking visitors on bike tours, guiding them from one impressive spot to the next including the Alcazar, the Cathedral, and one of my favourites, the Jewish quarter of Santa Cruz. In my years of experience, one of the things that I have learned is that what is interesting for one can be less so for another. It is for this reason that I make every effort to customize my tours according to the guest's time, their interests and their expectations. I know the Strait of Gibraltar area very well and have spent many summers there. It is a special region where nature, history, and different cultures come together. During the day, we enjoy scenic drives along the Atlantic coast, views of the mountains of Cádiz, and on clear days, the African coastline on the horizon. In Gibraltar, we explore this unique place with the help of a local specialist guide, visiting key sites such as tunnels, caves, viewpoints, and the famous Barbary macaques. To finish the day in a quieter setting, we visit a beautiful white village with a long history and great views over the Strait of Gibraltar. This tour is designed for travelers who want to understand the place while enjoying a relaxed pace and comfortable travel.
This is a fabulous excursion and Abraham is a fantastic guide. He created a personalized experience for us that we will not forget. We requested a private tour from Seville to Gibraltar to Tarifa. We continued on our own to Morocco. TBL proved once more why they are superior to many of the other online tour groups. Flexibility and quality are their 2 top qualities. Abraham set up a personal tour for us based on our needs and our timelines. He arranged comfortable transportation. He communicated regulary with us and helped us avoid many issues in a very busy time in Seville. He picked us up promptly as promised, provided us with interesting history about the areas we visited, arranged local guides in Gibraltar and got us to the Tarifa ferry on time. We highly recommend Abraham as an outstanding guide.
I did not know Abraham until I contacted him through TBL. I wanted to book 5 tours (see below) while in Sevilla from Oct 6 to 12, 25. We like “go deep” into the area we are visiting so we have a real sense of where we’ve been. We don’t consider ourselves to be difficult clients:) He exceeded our expectations in every way; always on time, always willing and able to answer our questions, very knowledgeable about the trips we took, extremely accommodating if we wanted to spend more time in a particular location and very flexible in trying to show things that allowed us to get a real feel for each site. In short, I can highly recommend him without hesitation. This review is same for the 5 trips we took because my comments apply equally to each trip. Each one was wonderful. The trips we took were Sevilla half day, Donana National Park, Cadiz/Jerez, White Villages and. Gibraltar.
Excellent guide!
Wonderful day trip with Abraham! Abraham picked us up and we drove to Gilbralter from Seville. He explained how the landscape changed. In Gilbralter, we toured the island and the nature preserve. We saw different vantage points of the Rock of Gilbralter, we saw Africa from afar and an amazing cave and lots of monkeys. The local guide was fantastic with the monkeys. On the way back, we stopped at a delicious restaurant with real local flavor. We stopped at a beautiful white village on the way
Abraham is a very special guide. Not only is he very knowledgeable but he is generous with it, answering unending questions. He has a delightful easy going but very directed way of leading that not only was demonstrated with us but also with the tour guide around Gibraltar. After our first tour with him we asked him to take us to several places in Seville. He was great then also.
Pick-up from your accommodation in Seville in a comfortable private vehicle. We begin the day with a scenic drive towards the Strait of Gibraltar, enjoying views of the Andalusian countryside and the Atlantic coast. A short stop can be made along the way if needed. Upon arrival in Gibraltar, we enjoy a private guided visit inside the Rock with a local specialist guide. This visit includes the historic Old Town, St. Michael’s Cave, the Great Siege Tunnels, panoramic viewpoints, and time to see the famous Barbary macaques. After the visit, there is time for a lunch break in Gibraltar or a nearby area, depending on your preference. To end the day in a quieter and more authentic setting, we visit Castellar Viejo, a medieval white village with beautiful views over the Strait of Gibraltar. Comfortable return drive to Seville. This itinerary is flexible and can be adapted to your pace and interests.
