Welcome to my personal page. My name is María, I am 46 and deeply passionate about my city. What to say about Seville, besides being the place where I have lived all my life I am passionate about this beautiful place. I take pride in my job and I feel a very lucky person to make my work a passion, not everyone can say that! Seville is one of the few cities that immediately and completely fulfils the expectations of visitors. It reflects everyone's first mental of Spain, bullfights, bodegas, wrought-iron balconies, fountains, moorish arabesques, ceramic tiles, flamenco. . . It is the blinding colours of Seville, more than anything else, that set it apart. The ever-present blue sky remains deep blue, rarely dissolving into the summer haziness of the Mediterranean coast. Much of the city is shaded by orange trees, their leaves remaining emerald green all year round. The oranges themselves provide additional speckles of colour during the cooler months, and towards the end of March the voluptuous scent of their blossom duels with, and defeats, the heavy perfumes favoured by the travellers. I also love cooking, in Spain we have a very rich gastronomy, that is why I offer you the gastronomic tour and class. I hope you to encourage to know more about our culinary culture!I consider myself a good cook and a lover of all of our plates! I love bike tours because is the best way to know Seville in less time. The city is very suitable for riding a bike, it has available areas for it, so it is safe and funny. FLAMENCO. Flamenco music was developed by Triana Gypsies. It arose from the result of the miscegenation of natives, Moorish's, Jews and Gypsies that was in the city. In these neighbourhoods we can delight with his legacy permeated in its streets. My wife and I visited Sevilla for the first time in April. We wanted to start it off with a private tour just to understand Sevilla’s history and get a lay of the land. Our tour with Maria was exactly what we were looking for. We walked and talked us through the old tobacco factory and its history and the Plaza de España and the grounds of the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition. We walked throughout the Jewish quarter, up to city hall and back down the Cathedral. All along the way we learned all about Sevilla’s history, arts, architectures, and cultures. So very interesting. This is a great tour to set the stage and prioritize what you want to do for the next couple days, and María is the best person to do it with.
