Monumental Seville - Alcazar, Cathedral, Giralda Tour

Vangelis was superb. He was knowledgeable about the architecture of the Royal Alcazar and the Gothic Cathedral. He only showed us pictures on his iPad when appropriate. (I've been with guides that rely on pictures on the iPad.) He is fluent in English. He was easy to understand. My friend and I had a wonderful time with him. I highly recommend him as your guide for Seville.

We loved having Vangelis as our tour guide for the Alcazar and the Cathedral. HIs architectural background was a huge plus as he gave us a lot of detailed information, along with the history we wanted. In addition, he went above and beyond with many recommendations for local points of interest. It enhanced our experience in Seville.

Our tour with Vangelis exceeded our expectations! He is a wonderfully informative guide, schooled in architecture, which enables him to provide extra insights and point out details we never would’ve noticed on our own. It is essential to see these sites with a guide. Otherwise, you don’t really know what you are looking at. We had a marvelous time with the very sympatico Vangelis.

Vangelis was an incredible guide! We toured with our three children (ages 11, 8, 6). He was able to answer any questions that they had and explained everything in ways that was interesting to all of us. We learned so much more than if we had toured the sites on our own. He was prepared with an iPad that had additional images and details to share and add to the experience as we toured. He was very knowledgeable and his love of Sevilla showed. We had a great time. Vangelis was absolutely fantastic. We travel a lot and take many guided tours, and he was superb—one of the very best we have had: knowledgeable, eager to answer questions, even if they strayed from the specific subject matter, interesting and interested. He made the Palace and Cathedral even more wonderful that the sheer beauty of the buildings. Also very helpful with recommendations about other things to do, places to eat, etc. If you can do a tour with him, do take the opportunity to see the best!
