My name is Gontxu, I was born in Donostia-San Sebastian in 1977. After my studies I left the city to travel a bit the world, then, I was living in several countries like Ireland, France, Iran, Mexico or Benin. I learned a bit about other cultures and towns around the world. After my experiences abroad, I decided to come back to San Sebastian and settled down in my native city for guiding and showing to visitors the magic of the region. I love nature and on my free time I love to go into the ocean for surfing or swimming and into the mountains for climbing or trekking. I am also passionate of history and culture and a good food lover, always ready for good tasting meal :-) I am looking forward to meeting you and transmit you the magic of our region, let's do it combining 3 Basque passions: gastronomy, culture and nature, I am sure we are going to have a great time together. - Wide experience guiding tourists in San Sebastian. - Middle Mountain Guide degree. - Experience living in other countries such a France, Ireland, Iran, Mexico or Benin. - 5 years Business administration degree. I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences

Did you know San Sebastian is the only European city with a tunnel inside used exclusively by bikes? Did you know San Sebastian has 3 beaches and 3 mountains inside of the city? Did you know 2 of the greatest sculptors of the 2nd half of XX century have their works in 2 beautiful viewpoints in the city? If you want to activate your body while visiting one of the most beautiful landscapes that a city could have chosen, this could be your tour. Since the first minute we will be immersed on the coast line and we will drive all along its 4 miles (6 km) stopping by iconic points. After passing by all 3 San Sebastian's beaches, on the way back of our tour we will choose another way, an old train way tunnel, along a mile we will do underground cycling . To finish this 4 miles (6 km) way back we will cycle and stop beside the greatest buildings and bridges of the city.
Total: 8 miles (12 km) - First stop at Zurriola surfing Beach and Ulia's bottom mountain. - Beautiful cycling around Urgull mountain called "Paseo Nuevo" - Quick stop on the Port & Old town. - Riding all along la Concha beach (a must in your visit to San Sebastian) - Cycle along Ondarreta beach & stopping at iconic Comb of the wind - Quick visit to the University area - Crossing through old train way Tunnel - Stopping by iconic buildings as Tabakalera modern art center, the Cathedral and Maria Cristina Hotel. - Crossing the most beautiful bridge of the city: Maria Cristina bridge.
