My name is Gontxu, I was born in Donostia-San Sebastian in 1977. After my studies I left the city to travel a bit the world, then, I was living in several countries like Ireland, France, Iran, Mexico or Benin. I learned a bit about other cultures and towns around the world. After my experiences abroad, I decided to come back to San Sebastian and settled down in my native city for guiding and showing to visitors the magic of the region. I love nature and on my free time I love to go into the ocean for surfing or swimming and into the mountains for climbing or trekking. I am also passionate of history and culture and a good food lover, always ready for good tasting meal :-) I am looking forward to meeting you and transmit you the magic of our region, let's do it combining 3 Basque passions: gastronomy, culture and nature, I am sure we are going to have a great time together. - Wide experience guiding tourists in San Sebastian. - Middle Mountain Guide degree. - Experience living in other countries such a France, Ireland, Iran, Mexico or Benin. - 5 years Business administration degree. I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences

If you are looking for a special day of trekking during your stay in Basque country, this would be without any doubt your first choice because Basque landscapes are about green mountains and blue ocean and both of them are mixed with the most harmonious elegance in this magical part of the coast. Did you know. . . . . . geologists from all over the world come to these cliffs to study what happened during millions of years to Earth? . . . this is 1 of the 3 points in Earth where the dinosaurs extinction provoked by a meteor theory can be proven? . . . due to its beauty a few chapters of game of thrones were recorded in this area? Let's talk along the way about all these subjects and let's mix our talks with a bit of mysticism and Romanticism as we will be doing part of the St. James way, the same way that thousands of pilgrims have been doing since the medieval on their travels to visit St James's apostle tomb in Santiago. Let's do it
- After pick you up in your hotel we will drive 30 mins to Zumaia town. - From Zumaia we will start our walk.
