I am graduated in Tourism (University of Zaragoza) and an expert of Spanish History and Art. Overview of your Madrid tour
Toledo old town was declared by Unesco a " World Heritage Site" in 1986. And this was due to the great importance of the city in the past times and the many monuments that have been preserved from different periods . The whole old town is like an open air museum. If there is a city that sums up our country's history, that one is Toledo. I love history and my goal on this tour is to share it with you in a way that would make it memorable and entertaining at the same time. Each of you are different, therefore the ability to tailor the visit to your interests will by my priority. We will travel throught the time and visit the highlights of this fascinating city. We will follow the traces of Muslims, Jewish and of course, Christians. Without forgetting "El Greco" , the painter who immortalize the city with his paintings. Join me in this extraordinary tour!

Mariluz and Jaime were prompt. The driver was incredible as he navigated the narrow streets of Toledo. He had ample bottles of water in the vehicle. Mariluz offered an impromptu change with the itinerary. We visited Hospital Tavera. She kindly bought a coffee at a nearby restaurant so we were able to use the restroom. We did not go to the mosque or the church of Santo Tome. We visited the Transito (former synagogue) and the Cathedral which was extensive once inside. With our walk, we poked into shops.

Mariluz organized the trip very well, with a driver who was amazing in the narrow streets of Toledo getting us up to the Cathedral area. We saw the fortifications and natural river barrier to entry. We saw everything Mariluz indicates in her tour, learned so much about the city itself and the role it played in history, and its people. We had a lovely lunch at a restaurant she recommended, and learned we have both met the same famous actor! Besides, she's fun and knows many people in Toledo. Select her!

Our tour with Mariluz Gutiérrez was exceptional. Her knowledge of Toledo's history and architecture was impressive, and she shared engaging stories at each landmark. Mariluz was patient and attentive with my elderly parents, ensuring their comfort throughout the tour. Her friendly demeanor made the tour feel like a day out with a knowledgeable friend. The Cathedral and Church of Santo Tome visits were memorable, especially viewing El Greco's masterpiece. Highly recommended.
