Take the high speed train to Toledo and visit one of the most charming cities in Spain. A World Heritage Site by Unesco, Toledo is the repository of more than 2000 years of history. It is known as the "City of the Three Religions" where Judaism, Christianity and Islam "coexisted". Undoubtedly, it is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain with breathtaking moorish buildings. BETTER NOT TO GO ON SUNDAY AS THE CATHEDRAL DOES NOT OPEN TILL 2 PM
We had a delightful tour with Nani today in Toledo. She took care of all the details to make sure the tour was ideal for us. After our tour, we decided to go to her favorite paella restaurant in Madrid. We had a wonderful and flowing conversation. Nani also made sure that we are well prepared to make our train trip to Barcelona in the morning. You will have a great experience with her.
Nani is awesome—super knowledgeable, clearly passionate, and great at keeping the group engaged. She has a way of making the history relatable and her love for the city really shows. If you’re touring the city, you definitely want her!
Nani is a wonderfully experienced guide who was a delightful companion for our day trip to Toledo from Madrid. She managed the logistics and started us right away with a tour of the Toledo old town, culminating in a detailed walk through the exceptional Cathedral. Nani is very knowledgeable about the building's history and remarkable details; we're grateful she brought that understanding to us. We concluded our visit with lunch across the river with spectacular views of Toledo. Nani is a pro!

Toledo is a beautiful city & Nani is an excellent guide. She is very knowledgeable & personable. We had 2 full days in Madrid & we were very happy that we decided to go to Toledo on the 2nd day. We took the high speed train from Madrid with Nani (about 30 minutes). Nani guided us through Toledo at a wonderful pace, we didn't feel rushed at all. The cathedral is amazing- in our opinion, it rivals St Peter's in Rome in terms of size & beauty. Nani was very helpful in pointing out shopping & dining options.
Communication was prompt & courteous. Nani was very flexible with our plans. She helped us purchase tickets and make restaurant reservations. We had 3 generations travelling together but she tried to engage everyone & pace the tour accordingly as we have 2 seniors who cannot walk long. We would not hesitate to recommend her.
*We will meet at Atocha Railway Station or in your hotel/apartment, if you prefer. The train only takes 25 minutes! *Once in Toledo, we will take a taxi to enjoy a sightseeing tour of Toledo to see the views of the old city. Then, we will get into the old center and will walk through the narrow streets to visit: - Cathedral (probably, the most beautiful one in Spain) - Former Jewish Quarter - Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue. These are the highlights of Toledo. However, along the way, we might see other things like: - Santo Tome Church where El Greco's masterpiece is - Transito Synagogue - San Juan de los Reyes Church. Free time for lunch and/or shopping *After free time, we will pick up the train to come back to Madrid. Usually, we are back around 4 pm. The itinerary can be adapted to traveller's interests: do no hesitate to contact me for a customized tour. And with me, you always skip the lines!
