My name is Daniel, for my friends just Dani. Welcome to Madrid, the place where I was born back in the seventies. Spain and its capital city have changed a lot since then, and I consider myself part of this transformation. I graduated in History and Journalism at the main local university, and I completed my education in France. Art, politics and social sciences have always been subjects of my interest, and soon I realized that I love to share this knowledge with people. Know the main boulevards, parks, fountains and Art galleries from XVIII and XIX centuries. The Prado museum hosts a priceless collection of paintings. Not yet overwhelmed? Picasso's Guernica or Thyssen Gallery sure will do. More than one museum can be too rushed, unless you are a real Art fan. Choose your priority and I'll tell you which are the highlights in other museums when you visit on your own. Not far is fancy Salamanca disctrict, another option to complete the tour. End the journey at Retiro Park or Botanical Garden, breaking away for the city bustle.
