¡Hola! Welcome to Madrid! My name is Leonor. I am a professional licensed tour guide who never gets bored exploring the city that I love. I was born in Madrid, but I grew up in Córdoba. I studied in Madrid: I got first the degree in Tourism, and some years later I got the degree in German Philology (UCM University Complutense in Madrid). I worked as a tour leader travelling with groups during five years, but then I realized that I wanted to live in Madrid and work in this fantastic city. Guiding individual clients/groups is my full time job, and I have worked as a local guide since 1999. I love art, history, meeting people from other countries and showing them my city. I like travelling very much and I appreciate how important a guide can be for visitors. My aim as your guide is to help you to have a pleasant and unforgettable time in Madrid. You will not get bored. Madrid is a fascinating city that has so many things to do, see, offer and explore. . . When you come, you will discover them! Licensed Madrid Tour Guide nº 55 Licensed Toledo Tour Guide nº CLM/205-P Licensed Guide for the National Heritage Sites (Royal Palace of Madrid, Monastery of Escorial...) nº 509 Member of APIT ( Guides' Association of Madrid) Degree in German Philology, UCM (University Complutense Madrid) I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

You can't leave Madrid without having visited one of the best art galleries in the world! The 206-year-old Prado Museum is the main Spanish painting museum. It is considered to have one of the world's finest collections of European art, based on the former Spanish Royal Collection. Antonio Saura ( Spanish painter and writer said): "El museo del Prado no es el más extenso, pero sí el más intenso", which means: "Prado is not the most extensive museum, but the most intensive one". It has got the biggest concentration of masterpieces per square meter in the world! I recommend to visit it with an experienced guide as me to be able to do a selection of the best. Join me and let's explore together this amazing museum: you won't regret it. I enjoy the experience of visiting it every time as if it was the first one!
On this tour we'll see the jewels of the collection, so we'll focus our visit on the masterpieces. The three main painting schools at the museum are: - The Spanish school: El Greco, Velázquez, Goya. . . - The Flemish school: Bosch, Van der Weyden, Rubens. . . - The Italian school: Titian, Tintoretto, Rafael, Fra Angelico. . . The itinerary can be adapted to traveller's interests: do not hesitate to contact me for a customized tour
