Old Town & Royal Palace Walking Half Day Tour

Our group loved every minute of the three days we spent with Amalia! She is friendly, fun, and able to read her clients and alter the tour accordingly. From the rich cultural legacy of the medieval Muslim Moors, Jews and Christians of Toledo to the historic Prado, the Royal Palace in Madrid and more, she helped us understand the history of her adopted city, past and present. Amalia had great communication and did her best to accommodate our diverse group, with people from 21 to 74. She had whisperers for everyone which was great for our group to hear while walking through the streets of Madrid and the palace. She also brought a number of paper maps for us, an increasingly difficult rarity to find! She met us at our accommodations, helped us in ordering food after our tour was over, and then got us a taxi.

Amalia was an excellent guide. She is very familiar with the history of Spain and the Iberian peninsula and made our visits to the various historical sites that much more interesting. You could not get the same information from a sightseeing guidebook. Thanks Amalia for a wonderful time.
