Our guide Luis with flexible, accommodating and fluent in both language and local history. Despite rainy weather, he was a trooper and stuck with us for the whole time that was scheduled for the guided tour. In addition to his knowledge on the tour, he helped us after the fact when my girlfriend needed a dentist recommendation. Not speaking the language he was able to give us some assistance that was invaluable. He also was able to help us with a dinner reservation. What a great guy!

Our private tour of Madrid led by Luis was the highlight of our trip. Luis was polite and easy to both listen to, and talk to. He took us on a comprehensive walking tour of many of the popular sites in Madrid and he also guided us through small side street and alleyways where we saw and experienced the shops, people and culture of Madrid that we never would have discovered on our own. Luis walked at our pace and made sure we took necessary breaks, all while talking about Madrid, its history and its culture. He also gladly took pictures of us at several sites so we did not have to struggle with taking selfies. We would highly recommend booking Luis for a private walking tour of Madrid.

My husband and I absolutely made the right decision choosing Luis in Madrid. We did 3 tours over a 3-day period. One day built upon this next and by the end we felt we had made a good friend. Luis is very knowledgeable not only about Madrid; he is well traveled in general. This itinerary was well organized with a good combination of taxis and walking. We are older, and he adjusted the pace accordingly. He was flexible and was able to pivot quickly when needed. Our tour on day 3 to the Prado and Royal Palace was not one which was described in his listings. He can totally design anything you want to do. I would 100% recommend booking Luis.
