Madrid Highlights.Private Walking Tour.

Jackie was a guide for my wife and me on a 3.5 hour walking tour of Madrid. We were coming from Toledo, and she set up a convenient meeting place for us at the train station. Her English is flawless. She set up the tour as a walking tour touching on the main highlights of the city. She was knowledgeable and personable about architecture, history, politics, religious matters, and art. She gave us plenty of useable advice for touring the city on our own, how to set up and prioritize our own sightseeing. She was very pleasant to spend an afternoon with. 5 out of 5. We thoroughly enjoyed our Madrid Highlights tour with Jackie. My friend & I were visiting Madrid for a short time and this 4-hour tour allowed us to experience the city in a way that exceeded our expectations. Jackie provided rich historical context from centuries ago through current times as we passed by or visited the buildings, plazas, and parks. And, as a local, Jackie gave us some understanding of life in modern-day Madrid. I always thoroughly research every aspect of my travel and this city tour rose to the top during my planning, not only because it included so many sights, but also because it included inside stops into places we wanted to see inside, including Almudena Cathedral. Jackie is warm & engaging, and set a perfect pace for us on our discovery route. You will love this tour with Jackie!

Jackie took us through the Madrid of the Hapsburg and the Madrid of the Bourbons, telling us about the significant sites along the way and making sure we had ample opportunities to take photos. She gave us a deep insight into Madrid. She brought us to some places we had never heard of, not just the ones we'd have found anyway. And she gave us some suggestions for what to do after the tour. I'd be happy to have Jackie as a guide again.

Jackie is not your run of the mill tour guide. If you do not wasn't to be wow'd by her knowledge and spunk this is not the guide for you. Jackie thank you for allowing Jim and myself to truly be ourselves My engineer and all his questions, me and my cynical contributions. Jackie your personality gave life to our tour and you not missing a beat to chime in with whit and charm. Jackie keeping the two of us informed about the history of the buildings, the parks, the people, & the lives of those people.
