Olé Amigos! I'm a professional guide, licensed tour manager born in the city of Madrid. I previously lived and worked in Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Tel Aviv & San Sebastian for my food and wine career in michelin starred restaurants. I'm a chef and wine expert, so I feel passion about touring while caring for the "eating and drinking" factor. My somewhat nomadic lifestyle has given me a wide perspective of life, culture, history and the excitement of experiencing new destinations while enjoying and respecting local traditions. Apart from living in different countries and learning to adapt to different cultures, I keep traveling & have been a tourist myself many times. I love planning my excursions by my morning cup of coffee, always hungry to find new exciting local spots and stories that enrich my insider's insight. From my own travelling experience I know how important is to get to the best places avoiding being treated "like a tourist" or how tricky it can get finding that unforgettable wine cellar, having the right restaurant table or sitting at an intimate Flamenco "tablao". As a local, I already know all those special places and hidden corners, typical cafés, unknown museums and specialized stores - and I will be more than happy to share my learnings with you. I will tell you plenty of curious anecdotes about where we are walking by, what are we tasting or contemplating at.
