In this walking tour we will see the ancient parts of the city related to Jewish past and its sites related to the Jews of Spain. What can you expect? Our Jewish heritage 2000 old is full of misteries and magical esoteric stories, also known as Sepharad. Emotional and historical, one of those places deeply rooted and linked to Holy land you cannot miss. I have been raised in a jewish home and have learned Kabbalah at Rabi's Michael Laitman school in Israel. I will love to share this magical story with you.

My group of 4 from Houston, Texas spent 2 days with Pepe A. He knew everything I could possibly want to hear about Jewish Madrid & Jewish Toledo. During my research of guides, I wanted to find a Jewish guide to get his perspective. There were a couple of others who were familiar with the Jewish sites but I did not feel I would get the same views. My brother & I had our DNA taken and we both had 4% Iberian Peninsula in our genes & our mother had 9%. Our great grandfather was from Monastir, Turkey (via Spain, Portugal & Italy.) I just really wanted to walk the streets of his ancestors .This trip to Toledo & Madrid was just what I was hoping for. I highly recommend Pepe A. for a guide.

We did a Jewish walking tour of Madrid of over five miles and nearly four hours. We saw numerous sites and neighborhoods, and Pepe explained the history of the area over centuries and millennia in the context of both Jewish and European history. All fascinating. Outstanding tour! Pepe combined the rich Jewish history of Madrid with Madrid city highlights and overall history. Pepe was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. It was a fantastic way to get an individualized tour of Madrid. If your trip allows, ask about Toledo and Toledo's history and a chance to visit Toledo. The memories are priceless!
