Dear travelers, I am a Licensed tour guide for all the region of Andalucia, and I'm currently working as a self-employed tour guide in Granada. I hold a degree in Art History and I'm specialized in Architecture and Cultural Heritage; I'm also trained in Building Techniques, as an expert in Restoration, and therefore my professional background includes fields as Restoration & Archaeology. But I also do love traveling as well, and I've worked in many different areas in the Tourism Industry, which makes me aware of the importance of a flawless and straightforward customer service. I enjoy solo traveling and I've travelled through Europe with an Interrail Pass twice; I've lived in many different places, including a ten-month stay in the USA during my sophomore year in high school; around two years in Italy learning about restoration, and other two years in the UK working as an archaeologist. I always try to get the most out of what life has to offer. The tours I provide in Granada include the Alhambra & Generalife complex or Walking Tours in different parts of the city as Albayzín & Sacromonte, Cathedral, etc. But let me know which are your particular interests and I will design a bespoke tour especially for you! I'm also a real foodie, as my parents had a lovely family restaurant when I was a teenager and we've always been really interested both in traditional gastronomy and in Nouvelle cuisine, and we love to try all the new restaurants in town! Therefore, I also do Tapas Tours, and I have designed a Vegan/vegetarian Tapas Tour, specially conceived for people with food restrictions who want to enjoy a truly Tapas experience in Granada (something sometimes difficult if you don't know where to go!!). All my Tapas Tours are also adapted for people with mobility issues. . . same as the Alhambra tour (not so easy for the City Tour though, but we can always try to give you the best solution, of course!). And obviously, apart from guiding you around Granada, I can also give you some good advices about the best places to eat and where you can find that perfect & unique souvenir. . . Some people just really have a very tight schedule when travelling abroad and they want to get the most out of their few hours in a city. . . this is why I offer this 5 hours intensive tour (with no stop for lunch) that will help you catch the essence of Granada with just a glance! Visiting the beautiful Alhambra & Generalife gardens with a guide is so helpful, so you're sure you don't miss any of the most beautiful areas and you don't waist too much time just queuing. . . In the city, I can also take you to the most iconic places, through the most beautiful alleys, making sure you don't go through the same road twice so you get to see as much as possible! I'm quite sure after this tour you will agree with Alexandre Dumas when he said: "I'm starting to think that there is an even greater pleasure than seeing Granada, and it is seeing her again"
Of the many tours we did during our 1+ month (Barcelona, Valencia, Cartgena, Granada, Ronda, Seville Madrid) train & driving holiday in Spain there was 2 tours that were fantastic . The tour with Marina was one of the fantastic tours. If we did it again we would do 2 tours with Marina. One wold be the Alhambra and on another day would be a Granada City tour. Thank You Marina!

Marina was a fantastic guide who provided us a tour of the Alhambra Palace and the Generalife gardens. Her knowledge and history of these sites was amazing. We loved that she had us start our tour in a town overlooking the Alhambra which formed the basis for the history of the area around and explained the basis for building the Alhambra and the city of Granada.
The Alhambra was the perfect setting for Marina G , our guide, to share her vast knowledge not only of the details of the history of the monument from before its inception until the present day but also of the greater history of the Moslem centuries occupying the Iberian peninsula. Marina was an interesting raconteur and a delight to spend 5 hours with as the time flew by. She is most highly recommended!

This is a Walking Tour The city of Granada has a typical medieval urbanism with many narrow streets and cobbled stairs, where cars cannot go through. Besides this, most of the city center and the old town has traffic restrictions, so the most peculiar and beautiful spots can only be discovered on foot. This is why I propose you a Walking Tour; but if you have any mobility restrictions I can organize a customized tour for you using taxis or a private transport if needed.
