Our tour with Conchi was fun and informative. She showed us a lot of beautiful neighborhoods in Albacin and told us a lot about the history of the town. Wish we had time to see the Alhambra but we’ll save that for next time.

Hello from Granada!!! My name is Conchi, a native granadina Licensed Official Tour Guide. It will be a pleasure for me to show you the way to discover the Mystery, the Magic and the Beauty of Granada, my city… I was born and raised in this city. My family belongs to Granada for many generations ago, where We were even able to investigate our ancestors and heritage as a family. I'm an authentic "granadina" native which I consider very interesting in this job because I can mix my academic knowledge and my continuous recycling and improvement with all my personal experiences as well as those of my family. Being native makes sense if I belong to this web calls "ToursByLocals" ;-) I have two degrees at the University of Granada in Tourism and History, but to improve my languages I've been studying in different countries such as U. S. A, France or Austria, as well as being travelling the world meeting people from everywhere. Always working at the tourism world, I have over 17 years of experience working as a travel agent in some of the most important travel agencies in Spain, and since some years ago as an Official licensed Tour Guide, being able to explain inside the Alhambra, Cathedral and the rest of the monument in Andalucía, by myself. I always try to connect the visitor with the monument that we are seeing, creating an atmosphere according to the historical moment that we are talking about. All my tours can be customised following your own ideas. Just let me know about you special wishes and I will get it. They all are private tours and I'm a very flexible person. If you are a family I can manage very good with kids and teens, customizing the tour for them, make them feel integrated and engaged with the history and the stories I will tell you. Please take a look to my review to see customers' opinions. We can visit the Alhambra and the rest of Muslim monuments that we still have in the city, but we can also walk around the old Jewish quarter, or the Christian Granada visiting churches, monasteries and convents of the 16th century. Taking "TAPAS" at the traditional bars in the old quarters, a "Shopping tour" downtown, get lost in the narrow streets of the Albaicin Neighbourhood or a "Flamenco Night Party", can be another way to discover my city. . Someone said… … "If we had to visit a single City in Spain, that should be Granada"… (Ernest Hemingway) … "Grenade vous excite jusq'annuler et faire fondre tous les sens". . (Henri Mattisse) … "I remember the sound of water passing through the gardens of the Alhambra and the Patio de los Leones. It was the first time I realized that water was important…" (Naruhito, Prince of Japan. ) Granada is waiting for you and will surprise you. Come and discover it with me!! University of Granada, Graduated in "Tourism Businnes " Degree in "History and Art" MBA (Tourist and Business Activities) University of Granada, Course of "Heritage, Art and History of La Alhambra". Member of AGIP (Association of official guides in Granada) I am a fully licensed guide for all the monuments being able to explain inside them such as Alhambra, Albaicin, Royal Chapelle, etc. No restrictions.

How would you feel if a take you to a super narrow street where just one person fit, balconies full of flowers, many old "Aljibes" (Old water Cisterns), the Grand Mosque of Granada today, the beautiful views from the Viewpoint of "Mirador de San Nicolás" the churches, old mosques before or an enchanting bell- tower from the 16th century ?Let me introduce you to the Albaicin Quarter, the old muslim "Garnatha" a labyrinth of charming streets. Did you know that Granada has the quarter of the Sacromonte where inside the Caves our gypsies from Granada use to dance a traditional granadian Flamenco style at the parties called "Zambras"? You don't? I will make sure once you leave the city you know everything about our culture. . . Finally will arrive by the river Darro, walking in one of the nicest street in Spain with lovely house-palaces from the 14th/15th Centuries. Families with children and Teenagers: I can customize the tours for your kids to engage them into the history and make them enjoy with the stories.

This was the highlight of my trip - I enjoyed walking the winding narrow streets and was able to see the interior of a home . I learned about the history and significance of the architecture and people and culture . I went to a local church and bought cookies from cloistered nuns and ended in a local tapas bar with excellent tapas. Conchi is knowledgeable, detailed , enjoys showcasing her beautiful city and I highly recommend her !
Conchi made our tour fun and very informative. In addition, she provided a wonderful historical perspective on the region and it's rulers. Also se was very helpful in answering some of our questions before we even arrived to Granada.
Conchi was a wonderful guide around Granada! She was super flexible and accommodating with time/place for meeting, and adapted the tour easily to our two children (5 and 9). She brought the history of Granada to life as we walked about the city center and Albaicin. Really enjoyed our time with her!
Conchi showed us Granada as you won't find it in a guide book. From the winding streets to a local tapas bar, the Alhambra and the Albaisin and much, much more, Conchi made the past come alive as she explained how the art and architecture related to other works in the same time periods. She is enthusiastic, funny and extremely knowledgeable about history. She even diagrammed the royal family tree one day at lunch. What a tangled sketch! We highly recommend Conchi as a guide for all ages! C|m
