(Alhambra tickets included) Alhambra and Generalife private tour, from a castle to a city

We were a group of 5 and had a great time with Nono. He was really helpful even before the trip when I asked for a recommendation for a place for breakfast before our tour. The tour itself was excellent. He took us different ways to make sure we had plenty of space to enjoy the Alhambra which obviously can get very busy. It made it a much more relaxing experience not being surrounded by people all the time. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our (many) questions and pointed out things I would never have even noticed. Thoroughly recommend.

Juan Antonio, "Nono" was wonderful. We are a family of 4, 12-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter. Nono was kind, knowledgeable, and patient with all of my 8-year-olds questions, and she had many. I cannot imagine navigating the Alhambra without his guidance. After the tour he gave us an amazing lunch recommendation that was off the beaten path of tourists, and it was incredible! I would highly recommend Nono for your Granada tours.

Juan Antonio “Nono”, was the perfect tour guide for our private tour of the Alhambra. He has a wealth of information about the history, the many buildings and plants and that adds much color to the tour. He also knows when to be quiet and let you absorb the beauty of what you are seeing. It is a lot to take in. He purchased our tickets in advance and that was very convenient. He whisked us through all the checkpoints expertly. With 8,000 visitors a day, he knows how to make the experience feel as isolated as possible, so you don’t feel crushed by the crowds. Nono communicated with us before the tour, so that we felt very comfortable that he would show up and we knew how to get in touch with him. We highly recommend Nono if you need a tour guide while in or around Granada.

Juan Antonio is a fantastic guide - we recommend him without reservation. We had visited the Alhambra years ago and enjoyed it, but that visit was nothing like our tour today. Juan Antonio has a remarkable breadth and depth of knowledge, not only of the history of Spain and the Alhambra, but even the horticultural and common names of the plants in the Generalife gardens! Juan Antonio really brought the Alhambra and its history to life. On top of all that, he’s a lot of fun to spend a few hours with. If you can find an opening on Juan Antonio’s schedule for a tour, I would jump on it. You’ll be very glad you did.

We have just completed a tour of the Alhambra with Juan this morning and it was fabulous! He brought the Alhambra and it’s very complicated history to life. His depth of knowledge not only of the Alhambra itself but also of Grenada was phenomenal. We could not recommend Juan highly enough. We had a private tour for 6 people and everyone loved it. In fact we have already recommended him to several of our friends who will be visiting soon.
