South Africa, what a lovely country of diverse flora, fauna, culture and history! I have a passion for this beautiful country, it's landscape's and scenery are one of the most beautiful in the world. South Africa has so much to offer, the wildlife and natural vegetation is so diverse, wild and bold. I love to show traveler's the " Off the beaten track" places in and around Cape Town and the surroundings on day trips or multi day trips. I am a qualified registered Tourist Guide for South Africa (registered to guide in all 9 PROVINCES) guide reg no:WC8777 with specialties in the Western Cape, Cape Town Environment and Cape Wine Industry. I have lived in South Africa for all of my life and have been very interested in the history and culture of our country and enjoy sharing my knowledge with other people. I enjoy working and compiling different day tours and itineraries to suit the individual and can work out a special tour to suit my travelers request. The routes that I use will show my guests different aspects of the countryside and also certain points of interest. Most of my tours include an authentic cultural experience from the places we visit to the food you indulge in, 'experience the heart and soul of Africa'. Each experience tells a story of Africa and it's diverse heritage, culture, natural wild life and beauty. I strive to deliver the best that is on offer, a unique, quality filled informative personal tour experience. My passion to becoming a Tourist guide started in 2009 when I first began studying for my Cultural Guiding Course and progressing to becoming a South African National Guide. I have set up a small Tour Operating Company which I also operate and take pride in. I am a great supporter of nature conservation especially the protection of endangered species, and I help in protecting our Rhino's, Elephants and Wildlife from being poached! I sponsor the penguin colony breeding shelters. I enjoy the amazing response that is shown from the tourist when they see the diverse wildlife and the awe inspiring moments of meeting the local culture, it is such a pleasure to share those moments and know they will definitely take these splendid memories back home with them, and to be part of that is just amazing! The best part of being a a local guide is conducting a private tour which is so personal and you will feel more comfortable if you have more insight about the guide before going on the tour with them. My tours are for solo travelers/families/ mature explorers and small groups, I will compile a tour to suit your needs and interests. You can also ' hang out with the locals" I can arrange an outing with the local's from shopping to eating with the local's. You can choose what you would enjoy doing on your tour or I can arrange a tour to suit your specific needs or you may also choose a tour on my profile which will suit your tour plans. Come and discover the treasures that our part of the world has to offer and let me take you on a journey to experience " THE ESSENCE OF AFRICA" with a local guide! - I am a qualified registered National Tourist Guide for South Africa. Overview of your Cape Town tour

Take a journey with me to explore the Western Cape Wineries, you will be taken on a fascinating journey through beautiful winelands, rugged mountain landscapes, breathtaking scenery , enjoy the pleasant countryside tasting wine, sumptuous food and share in the cultures of the people and age old Cape Winelands. Think 'wine', think South Africa and one immediately thinks of the Cape. Because wine and its South African history is inextricably interwoven with the beautiful hinterlands of Cape Town and the broader Cape environs. While taking a group of travellers on a guided wine tour I try to give them a variety of different wine estates each with a different theme, some estates have a luxurious simplicity and others are more down to earth and homely Highlights: Fairview wine, cheese & goat farm Stark Conde wine estate with spectacular views Eikehof family boutique wine estate If you have specific wine estates you would prefer to visit, I am happy to work out an itinerary to suit your preferences.

Brenda was a lovely tour guide from the start of our communication a few months ago to our day outside of Cape Town viewing multiple animal conservancies and rescues. Apparently I was an unusual client in what I wanted to see and do in Cape Town, but she took everything in stride and planned a lovely day. We even squeezed in another place on our itinerary! She was a great communicator and super easy to converse with. I highly recommend her for any and all tours in the Cape Town area!

So very happy we booked Brenda for our full day tour from Capetown. She is very friendly, fun to be with and extremely knowledgeable. She delighted us with a lot of African history. We were picked up at our hotel and taken immediately to Table Mountain to beat the cruise ship crowd and she masterfully got us on the lift and on to the cable car to the top. Such a beautiful day and she filled us in on all the flora and fauna at the top. Next a lovely drive on Chapman's Peak, Camps Bay, Cape of Good Hope, penguins at Boulder's Beach, great burgers at a small town restaurant AND she laughed at all my husband's corny jokes, takes a real trooper to do that all day. Don't hesitate to book with Brenda if she is available. You will not be disappointed!!! Got our wonderful trip to beautiful South Africa started off right. Thank you Brenda.

We had a wonderful half day tour with Brenda before we boarded our cruise ship. Based on our interest and requests, we visited a farmers market, which we loved, then visited the company gardens, where we stopped for tea and the most delicious cheesecake we had ever eaten. We were then able to visit the craft market before Brenda dropped us off at the ship. We could not have had a better tour – highly recommend Brenda!
