Overview of your Cape Town tour
As a local Cape Townian, I love this city and ready to show you the best parts of it. We will explore Table Mountain where we will go up by cable car (this will depend on the weather conditions as the cable car is closed when it is too windy or there are misty conditions) to enjoy the breathtaking views from this prominent landmark. Visit Bo Kaap also known as the Cape Malay Quarter, famous for the brightly coloured houses where you will have the opportunity to see the charming mix of Cape Dutch and Cape Georgian architectural houses and oldest spice shop in South Africa. We will visit the slave lodge or district six museum and company gardens by Parliament.

Wow! What a great afternoon. Kabelo picked us up at our hotel and showed us the main hi lights of Cape Town. We drove up to Table Mountain but the tablecloth was on the table so we didn’t do the cable car to the top. Next was Lion’s Head and Signal Hill. What views! Bo Kaap was a fun area with all the colorful homes amd interesting art galleries. A walk through the pedestrian mall in the city center and on to the cathedral where Desmond Tutu’s funeral was held. We ended our day at the Slave Lodge, a museum showing the history of black South Africans. We ended the day on a drive around the bay seeing different parts of town and the beaches on the bay. Kabelo told us so much information and really made the day fun. He was so willing to tailor the day to our wants and needs. We let him choose what he thought would be the best use of our time and he certainly didn’t disappoint! Great time
