Kim D is more than a wonderful guide. She is actually a 'miracle lady'. She met us at the pier and we started the tour in a very comfortable van. It was not an ideal day: let me count the ways: cold, raining, fog, and being a Friday very heavy traffic. Outcome: Outstanding Experience. Kim loves her home town and it is contagious; we enjoyed a wonderful tour of the Cape area traveling through some beautiful coastline areas, wooded areas, wonderful small towns, even townships. Had a break port side (Hout Bay), more lovely sights, lunch in a local BBQ restaurant in Cape Point. It was a great way to end a 25-day cruise from Lisbon down the West Coast of Africa, mostly new cities for us. Exceptional. We booked 2 days in Cape Town with Kim. One a food and wine tour and the second, Cape of Good Hope and the Penguins at Boulder Beach. We have done a few TBL around the world and have had no better guide than Kim. Her knowledge of wine is outstanding and her love for the area is apparent as she explains the surroundings. We learned so much from her and could not have wished for a better experience. We may have left a bit of our heart in South Africa, but we believe we gained a friend.

Kim has a effervescent personality that made our tour very memorable. She was flexible in the itinerary based on the our desires. Kim knew how to avoid the tour bus groups. I highly recommend using Kim on your next visit to Cape Town.
