As noted, Clive F was the original guide for this tour. Due to a medical issue, Clive could not guide the tour on the booked date. Instead he asked his associate Marianne to stand in. This was handled by Clive and Marianne, requiring no effort on our part, with excellent communication. This communication continued throughout the day; from sitting down before we started to fine tune the itinerary to checking about each option throughout the day. She clearly cared that we got what we wanted from the tour. And we did, a Cape Town art tour covering the breadth of local art (from galleries to street murals to art gardens, traditional to contemporary) giving us enough history to understand the development of that art. In the end it was a great day To help us enjoy the rest of our visit, Marianne even gave us a list of other ways to explore Cape Town, its people, art and cuisine

We had booked with Clive months in advance, but when our tour day came he was in the hospital (I hope he is okay now). He sent Caz, his replacement, and we had a fabulous time with her. She was very knowledgeable, energetic, fun, and was great to spend the day with. We covered lots of territory. I don't know if it would have been the exact tour that Clive would have done, but it was a great tour. It was wonderful that Clive had a great substitute. That speaks well for him.
We had Clive for a guide for three days in the Cape Town area so he changed the schedules around so that we could see the entire area. If you let him know what you are interested in just let him know and he will make it happen.
