As a local Cape Townian, I love this city and ready to show you the best parts of it. We will explore Table Mountain where we will go up by cable car (this will depend on the weather conditions as the cable car is closed when it is too windy or there are misty conditions) to enjoy the breathtaking views from this prominent landmark. Visit Bo Kaap also known as the Cape Malay Quarter, famous for the brightly coloured houses where you will have the opportunity to see the charming mix of Cape Dutch and Cape Georgian architectural houses and oldest spice shop in South Africa. We will explore the city center where you will have the opportunity to explore the cape town heritage. We will visit the slave lodge OR district six museum (one of these) and company gardens by Parliament. You will have the option of either going to the township or visiting the botanical gardens Kirstenbosch.
Superb day out with Kabelo who is a lovely guy. We saw far more than those who did excursions with our tour operators. Local knowledge and a guide who knows everyone, gave us real insights and made us feel safe we’re so good. Could not recommend highly enough. Others on our main tour were jealous!

We spent a very enjoyable day in Cape Town with Kabelo. He is very warm, friendly and engaging, and was flexible and open to planning our time together to focus on our interests. We spent the morning touring a wide variety of areas and neighborhoods in Cape Town by van and on foot, including Bo Kaap, Signal Hill, and Table Mountain. At each stop, Kabelo provided historical and social context, answered our questions, and allowed time for photos. After lunch, we visited the oldest township in Cape Town (Langa), which is well worth the trip to better understand the history of the city and its political and social evolution before and after independence. We especially appreciated Kabelo’s willingness to engage in dialogue about social, political, historical and economic issues, which enhanced our understanding of Cape Town and South Africa more broadly.
We had a wonderful tour with Kabelo. It is very obvious that he loves his city and was very enthusiastic. We are not good walkers and Kabelo was very sensitive to that. We saw a lot, ate lunch where locals eat and especially enjoyed going close the top of Table Mountain. This was our third visit to Cape Town and we loved the time we spent with Kabelo.
Highly recommended this tour he is very knowledgeable and professional. Knows what to see when to see it . We had some rain but managed to still have wonderful day he found some great things to see then added a winery in because he is local it was sold out but they knew him so let us slide in always an advantage to hire a local tour guide . This winery was a fantastic on top of everything.
