Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguin Colony tour

George was an amazing tour guide. He personalized the tour for us, sharing the very best of the Cape. We wanted to see penguins, and we did—but we experienced so much more than we ever expected. He took us along a wonderful route that included stops in charming towns and at beautiful viewpoints. The National Park was especially memorable. George drove us through areas where we saw very few other tourists, making the experience feel truly special and personal. He spotted ostriches for us, as well as an exciting sighting of three bonteboks! He patiently waited for the ostriches—two females and one male—to walk past us so we could clearly see the toes he had described to us. We certainly weren't expecting such wonderful wildlife sightings. And, of course, watching the baboons was great fun. We carefully kept our distance and kept the windows up! George also recognized our interest in birds and kept a careful eye—and his binoculars ready—for great bird sightings throughout the day. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the birds we saw and identified for us. We also greatly appreciated the botanical knowledge he shared along the way. Birds, mammals, and flora—all were part of what made the experience so rich. In addition, George shared his lifelong knowledge of South Africa's history, culture, and people. We learned so much from him. He has an engaging, warm, and caring personality, and it was clear throughout the day how much he genuinely wanted us to have a wonderful experience. If you are going to Cape Town - don't hesitate to book George! We had booked a full day for four to the Cape of Good Hope, but the weather was against us so we visited the Franschhoek, vineyards and Stellenbosch instead and went to the Cape the next day. What a fantastic day that was! George was amazing and shared his passion and knowledge of his country's history, culture, geography and wildlife. Not only that but George was on hand throughout our stay, arranging airport transport and sent us top drawer restaurant recommendations. The vehicle was very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. George, we never felt rushed and believe you enjoyed yourself as much as we did. George was an excellent and congenial guide for our tour to the Cape Point and many places along the way. He was very flexible to modify the tour to fit our plans, included stops and suggestions along the way that we did not know about and shared his extensive knowledge about the areas we visited and about South Africa in general. He was an expert guide who made sure we saw the important stops, at the same time not rushing us when we wanted more time at a particular location. Thank you George for a great day.

Wow what an amazing day. George switched a lot of things up on the fly due to fog and traffic, but the tour did not skip a beat. He was so personable and knowledgeable and kept us amused with details all day on a 10 hour tour. We saw everything we had hoped to see. Plus he picked us up at our cruise ship when we got off and let us take our bags with us and then dropped us at the airport. He even paid a porter to take us and our bags to our check in counter.

Our guide, George, was terrific. He arrived on time and in a roomy, comfortable vehicle. Prior to meeting we were able to communicate via What’s app and we were able to tell him how we would like to customize our day. He also had some other great surprises along the way and took us to some quiet and less visited sites. Very knowledgeable about the wildlife and local trees and shrubs. We learned a lot. This was a very special day on the Cape. We would highly recommend using George M.

I don't think I could give another tour a higher review than what we experienced with George. First, he was extremely communicative from the day the booking was accepted. He guided us on what time he thought we should begin due to high summer crowds. We are very glad that we took his advice as we always seemed to be about 1 hour in front of the crowds. When I booked this tour I really had no expectations other than we would see the main sights for our 1st trip to Cape Town. This tour exceeded our expectations and George was really the reason. He knew exactly where to go and what we would see. We thought we would see some beautiful landscapes, flora and the Cape of Good Hope Lighthouse. We saw all of that and more, including animal sightings and exciting interactions that we couldn't have dreamed of. By the end of the day George was just one of us, enjoying the day with us as a friend.
