I am very passionate about my city Cape Town and especially the wide variety of tourism gems we have on offer. I am enthusiastic and have an attitude of ''joie de vivre''. Our tour starts with an early morning ride to the top of Table Mountain by cable car. At Groot Constantia the unique new Visitors Route takes guests to the Cloete Cellar. Here one can enjoy a wine tasting of five award-winning wines in a Spiegelau crystal glass - yours to take home as a souvenir. We drive to Muizenberg - a world-renowned surfing spot, and on to Kalk Bay. The quirky seaside village of Kalk Bay runs along the Main Road. A visit to Boulders Beach Penguin Colony provides you with the opportunity to swim alongside penguins. At Cape Point we have the opportunity to visit the iconic lighthouse and enjoy the magnificent view along Chapman s peak drive. We visit Hout Bay, Camps Bay and Clifton. Great opportunities to stop and enjoy the spectacular views along the Atlantic seaboard.
We enjoyed touring with Chris so much. He was a wealth of knowledge and a joy to be around. I woudn't hesitate to book other tours with him. We did the Cape Peninsula tour. Although the cable car to Table Mountain was closed, we easily filled the day with great stops, plenty of history lessons, and easy conversation. I hope to visit Cape Town again and would be delighted to see Chris again!
Chris is very amicable and knowledgeable. He is flexible and managed the tour accordingly if affected by weather and our wishes.

Spectacular Tour of Cape Town! Our guide, Chris P, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating on our 2 day tour of Cape Town. Not only did he seamlessly integrate our long list of 'must sees' he was also able to slip in some very local experiences as well! We ate at local restaurants and he took us to some of his favorite non-touristy shopping spots. He and my husband Eliot even managed to buy twin leisure shirts not knowing that they both separately selected the same one! We were able to attempt to learn the 'click language that the native Zulu speak' though our American tongues were very deficient. He was able to weave the story of the history of SA along with modern day racial issues and tensions in society. It was certainly an experience of a lifetime. If ever you're in Cape Town, we highly recommend Chris as your guide.
Chris was not only an amazing tour guide but quickly became a close friend. He is a lovely human being who gave us an amazing experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and I would highly recommend him.
Communicating with Chris was easy! He picked us up promptly, and we spent the first 90 minutes getting an overview of the city and touring Dow town landmarks. Unfortunately it was too windy for the cable car to Table Mountain. We had a lovely scenic ride down the coast and visited the penguins at Boulder Beach, the Ostrich Farm, and the Cape of Good Hope. His car is quite comfortable and he is a confident driver. We finished the afternoon at the GROOT Constantia winery. A lovely day!
