Hello, I am Daniel, and I am a Tourist Guide in Cape Town. ALL my advertised tours are very flexible, and can be tailor-made to your specific interests and needs. I am passionate about our beautiful Cape. When Sir Francis Drake became the first person to sail around the world between 1577 and 1580, he was so impressed with the Cape Peninsula and Table Mountain that he stated in his log "The fairest Cape, the most stately thing we saw in the whole circumference of the globe. " Any visitors to Cape Town have to visit Table Mountain, one of the 7 Wonders of the World. If you are in Cape Town for longer than a day, it is almost compulsory to drive around the Peninsula to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point for spectacular views. Our biggest export product is our wines, and a tour of the Winelands with inclusive wine tasting is another great tour. If you are also visiting the rest of South Africa, I also offer one way Garden Route tours where you can link up with Johannesburg from Port Elizabeth Airport. I am a fully qualified, licensed and registered tourist guide for the Western Cape and have a Professional Driving Permit. I am also a member of the Cape Town Tourist Guide Association. As part of my license requirements, I hold a valid First Aid certificate and have also completed a Wine Course. You will be travelling in a safe, air-conditioned car to ensure comfort and safety. When we are more than four people, I rent a larger vehicle from a reputable company. I do not take commission from any person or establishment and therefore I am able to take you anywhere you desire to visit or to places where the actual experience has proved to be of the very best value for your money - not to places where I can make a 'quick buck' on the side! One visit to Cape Town and you will agree with the travel author Lawrence G Green: "Though I am always ready to pack for a journey, I insist that Cape Town shall be at the end of it". Livingstone Tourism Academy - Culture Site Guide; MST Medical Skills Training - First Aid Level 1; Hospitality Connection - Basic Wine Course; Republic Of South Africa - Professional Driving permit EC1; Registered - National Department of Tourism: Cape Metropole; Winelands; Overberg; West Coast & Namaqualand; Breede River Valley; Garden Route up to Port Elizabeth and Surrounds.

Experience lovely country scenery as we drive through vineyards, apple orchards, canola fields and sheep- and dairy farms to the Southernmost tip of the African Continent. Highlights on this tour includes the great views from Sir Lowry's Pass and the very scenic 18 kilometer Clarence Drive between Gordon's Bay and Rooiels. We drive through the Overberg and Hermanus where we view whales (in season) and Betty's Bay with a colony of African Penguins at Stony Point.
Daniel was great….very accommodating for our long day on the road!
Fantastic day. Highly recommend this tour and guide. You will not be disappointed. (You will come away with a new friend)
We spent a wonderful day with Daniel making the trek from the Cape Town waterfront down to Cape Agulhas to see the southern tip of Africa! While it's over 2hrs driving each way, the time went by quickly with good conversation and amazing views of the countryside - even with our two kids under 13 in tow. Daniel was more than willing to adjust the schedule as needed, making a couple of well timed stops along the way, and showing us an amazing lunch spot along the waterfront. We couldn't have been more pleased with the tour and would highly recommend it!
My hubby and I had a wonderful outing with Daniel on our visit to Cape Agulhas and we treasured the good memories of being at the southernmost tip of the African continent where Atlantic Ocean meets Indian Ocean (even had the chance to feel the waters on both oceans!). Daniel was very accommodative to our request. Since visiting our little Penguin friends at Stoney Point was our priority, without any hesitation, Daniel swapped the itinerary around and made it our first stop instead. Though it took us approximately 3 hours (one-way journey) to the tip, the beautiful landscape driving to this place made it absolutely worth while. Thank you Daniel for the amazing outing we had with you besides imparting the history and culture of your beautiful country.
This was my 2nd tour with Daniel and it was another adventurous and fun day filled with laughter. Daniel is the only guide who offers this tour. While the drive was quite long from Cape Town, I felt it was absolutely worth it and enjoyed the beautiful views and day very much. Thank you again!
We had a magnificent tour and saw beautiful things with Daniel who was a delightful and very informative guide. He allowed us enough time to view Hermanus, the lighthouse at the southern tip of Africa, the magnificent view at Lowry's Pass, and The Shipwreck Museum in Bredasdorp. I would recommend Daniel to anyone wanting to see The Cape Town area and would absolutely hire him again if I get back to Cape Town.
Highlights on this tour includes the great views from Sir Lowry's Pass and the very scenic 18 kilometer Clarence Drive between Gordon's Bay and Rooiels. We drive through the Overberg and Hermanus where we might view whales (in season) and Betty's Bay with a colony of African Penguins at Stony Point - and obviously the bottom of Africa where you will have the opportunity to take your picture at the sign where the Indian- and Atlantic Oceans meet. We visit the historic Agulhas Lighthouse, a National Monument, and will stop at the picturesque Struisbaai fishing harbour. We can also stop at the shipwreck museum in Bredasdorp if time allows.
