I'd love to spend a day with you exploring Auckland and beyond, sharing the places, stories and local experiences that make this part of New Zealand so special.
I grew up on a farm, attended a small country school and later went to boarding school in Auckland. Although I've travelled extensively and lived and worked overseas, Auckland has always been home. I love sharing my knowledge of this wonderful region, from its volcanic landscapes and beautiful coastlines to its history, culture, food and favourite local spots.
As your private guide, I'll tailor the day to suit you. Perhaps you'd like to explore by vehicle, enjoy a walk, discover somewhere a little off the usual tourist trail, or simply take your time and enjoy the surroundings. We can plan ahead, follow your interests or change direction along the way. There is no need to rush.
I've been welcoming international visitors to New Zealand for around 30 years, and I still love what I do. For me, travel is about more than ticking off sights. I'm a firm believer in **Slow Travel, local experiences and the people and stories that make a place memorable.** My aim is for you to feel relaxed, well looked after and to finish the day with wonderful memories of your time here.
