Hi, I am Erlens - a tour guide based in Latvia having all licenses and accreditations to provide my services in all 3 Baltic countries. To be a tour guide is to be myself. For more than seven years I dedicated my work to designing and organizing tours, both in Latvia and throughout neighboring Baltic countries Estonia and Lithuania. Having an educational background in Tourism Management, supported by my own passion and solid professional experience in the Baltic region, I offer my guests tours that are reliable, filled with genuine excitement, and unique concepts. My aim is surprising clients with much more than they expected. Therefore, it's vital to do all my efforts so that the clients are satisfied with the way how they spend time during my tours. Positive emotions and great memories are the best assets that clients should bring back home after benefiting from their time on guided tours led by myself. If guests are happy, then I am happy as well. I do what I love and I love what I do! :) Official certificate for guiding in Riga in EN, RU. Certificate No. RITA-21-145. License to guide in Art Nouveau Museum. License for guiding in Turaida museum-reserve. Driving license since 1997. I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences

The famous Rundāles Palace is just a one-hour drive from Riga by car. Upon arrival in Rundāle, you will embark on a guided tour of the palace. After the palace tour, you'll have the opportunity to stroll through the beautiful Baroque Garden of Rundāle Palace, meticulously restored to preserve Rastrelli's original layout. In addition to the enchanting Rundāle Palace experience, our journey includes a visit to Bauska Castle. Enjoy a guided tour of Livonian Order Castle, a 15th-century masterpiece with enduring ruins. Explore the juxtaposition of history with the newer addition - the 16th-century Residence of the Dukes of Courland. The castle provides a fascinating glimpse into the region's rich past. To round off your day, indulge in a diverse selection of excellent dining options featuring traditional Latvian or modern cuisine, conveniently located near the palace or in the nearby city of Bauska.
Guests will be picked up at their designated hotel or apartment, embarking on an approximately 1-hour journey each way. Throughout the trip, I will share the captivating history of Riga and Latvia, addressing any questions you may have. Our first stop is Rundāle Palace, where you will have the opportunity to explore the ensemble of the most outstanding Baroque and Rococo architectural monument in Latvia, built between 1736 and 1740. Next, we'll visit Bauska Castle. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Livonian Order Castle, built in the mid-15th century, where ruins have endured through the ages. Additionally, discover the newer addition - the Residence of the Dukes of Courland - constructed in the late 16th century, adding a touch of grandeur to the historical complex. As part of the immersive experience, during the tour, guests will be introduced to excellent local dining options, providing opportunities to savor the flavors of local cuisine.
