Private Full-Day Tour from Riga: Sigulda, Turaida, Cēsis & Līgatne Soviet Bunker

Real Latvia begins outside of Riga. On this full-day private tour, we explore some of Latvia’s most beautiful towns - Sigulda, Turaida, Līgatne, and/or Cēsis - where medieval castles, artisan bakeries, excellent restaurants, and unspoiled nature come together. We travel through Gauja National Park, home to the scenic Gauja Valley and natural landmarks such as the famous Gūtmaņa Cave. Along the way, we visit medieval castles in Sigulda, Turaida, and/or Cēsis, climbing their towers and wandering through historic rooms while uncovering stories from Latvia’s past. For those interested, it’s also possible to arrange a guided visit with a local representative to the secret Soviet bunker in Līgatne, a unique Cold War site hidden deep underground. The day can be further enhanced with a visit to one of Līgatne’s renowned restaurants, such as Pavāru māja, or excellent dining spots in other towns along the route.
