I am specializing in private tours for individuals and small groups in Riga and Latvia. Key of my tours is the small groups where we can personalize, adjust your every wish. In large groups it is not possible. My aim is that you leave Riga or Latvia satisfied, excited and fully understanding it regardless was it 3 hour tour or 2 days. I describe myself as an erudite and open-minded person. I love my family, history, innovation, science, financial markets, politics, sports, art, traveling and a lot more. I love to share my opinion about life in Latvia, Riga because only from locals you can get the best point of view! Currently, I am living in Riga but have been born in the countryside (150 km from capital) and visited a lot of countries around Europe. I am half-blooded- father Moldovian, mother Latvian from eastern Latvia that has their own dialect, language. I would say that I have experienced and still living in a colorful life where east meets west and the future meets the past. I am flexible and opened for different tours according to my guest's wishes. As an example- Riga running tour, beer tour. Usually if the group is between ( 1-3 people) I offer tours by car. If you are more in the group, it is also possible to organize a minivan. Bachelor degree in business management. Riga guide's license. Driving license. I am not allowed to drive in territory of the port that is the reason why I am meeting you or at exit gate or waiting room.

Had a very nice tour with Aurels. Despite the sleet of late November we covered a large area. Aurels is knowledgeable and during the tour he spoke of history of Latvia and Riga with pride. I would definitely recommend Aurels for those wanting a walk around of the old city and the Art Nuevo areas. He is also open to questions and inquiries about the current state of the Latvia as well. Again, I do recommend Aurels.
We enjoyed our tour with Aurels. He showed us throughout Riga while giving us a true history of Latvia. When we were running a little late for our dinner reservation he went above and beyond by providing transportation to get us there on time. The following day I had a few questions and he followed up with me. He is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend Aurels.
We were given a wonderful city tour of Riga by Aurels! As arranged he met us punctually at our hotel and even the constant drizzling rain did not dampen his very informative and humorous discourse on Riga's history, architecture and life. It being our first visit to this interesting and lovely city we felt that by the end of the tour we had learned so much from this very knowledgeable guide. Tour is suitable for all people with a lot of walking involved. However, longer distances will be crossed with public transport and during the tour, we can have several pauses and coffee breaks. Before the tour I ask about interests and wishes that we include in tailor made tour that suits to you better (shops, sights, natural site, monument, restaurant). Private tour gives opportunities to stop where ever you wish to know or explore more.
