Half Day Tour to the Seagate of Riga and Wild Beaches of the Baltic Sea

We will visit a place where river Daugava falls into the Baltic sea, walk the pier up to the lighthouse in the sea and greet the boats and ships entering the delta. This is a fantastic place for pictures and ambience. While walking along the wild beach you might find some ambers in the sand. For those who are looking for more activities optional ride with horses along the seaside is available (to be requested at least 2 days prior to the tour).

We drive north from Riga downtown to the place that was closed for public during the soviet period - main sailing entry point in Riga since ancient times. Nowadays there is a great opportunity to walk the pier up to the very end and witness the spot where majestic river Daugava falls into the sea (not available during stormy weather). The length of a walk is 4-6 km depending on how far you want to explore the beach. Adjacent to the pier optional horse riding alond the seaside is available (extra cost for 1 hour 30 eur per person, safety equipment provided, no special skills needed).
