The best excursions to discover any tourism destination are excursions organized by local guides. I am one of them in Latvia (licensed and happy) - Armands Latvia Guide. Latvia is beautiful with rich history, beautiful nature, safe, tasty and friendly with a nice people. The tourists are different with different interests, so I am flexible to fined the best way to suite guests interests. The educational background - several guide courses and academic degree in Biology (MSc) and Tourism Management (MBA) and near 30 years in Tourism industry helps me to keep my level interesting and professional.

Overview of your Riga tour

Kemeri National Park is the third largest national park in Latvia in terms of area. It is known for its great biodiversity. The park is characterized by a diverse world of wetlands, including raised bogs, fens and transitional bogs, which cover 24% of the park's area. The Great Kemeri Bog is one of the largest in Latvia. 57% of the park is covered by almost continuous forest. Most of the bogs and forests in the park have been untouched by man for a long time and are home to unique flora and fauna. A total of 255 bird species have been recorded in Kemeri National Park. The forests in Kemeri National Park are very diverse, ranging from old pine to wet deciduous and mixed forests to forest-marsh complexes and reed beds of Kemeri National Park Lakes.
