Hi! My name is Yoriko. I was born and brought up in Osaka in Japan. Now I have a family with my husband, one son and one daughter. I have an experience to live in New York for 4 years, which gave me a chance to see Japan from outside. Let us visit southern part of Osaka. Sumiyoshi grand shrine is one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan, which was established in 211. You will be amazed at the beautiful arch-style bridge. This place is very enjoyable to walk around visiting sub shrines here and there. In neighboring Sakai city, we may also visit a museum of tea ceremony, where you can see the history of tea master Sen-no Rikyu and enjoy bowl of green tea (Maccha). If booked in advance, we will also have a chance to see how the blacksmith is working. (depending on the schedule of a blacksmith) Then we will come back to Namba area to enjoy lively street of Osaka. You will feel peaceful when we pour water on green moss-covered Buddhist statue at small Hozenji temple.
I had a wonderful time with my guide, Yoriko, on our 5 hour tour of Osaka. She planned an excellent itinerary for me. She was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. It was an enjoyable day with Yoriko and I highly recommend her.

Yoriko was an excellent guide. She was very helpful in planning our Japan trip. She was very well prepared. Besides being very knowledgeable, she was exceptionally well organized. My wife had injured her leg before our trip and Yoriko was very caring and made every effort to accommodate her to assure little was missed. We had a group of six and all thought Yoriko was great!
Yoriko was an excellent guide, flexible and knowledgeable. She had hired a very good driver as my husband does not walk very far and so this made the sightseeing easy and most enjoyable. A great introduction to Osaka.

Yoriko was wonderful! I hired Yuriko for a half day tour while my husband was getting a tattoo. Yuriko was a wealth of knowledge not only on the sites we were visiting but also on the surrounding buildings and areas. We were able to easily understand each other's English. Although I booked the tour, I am not an outgoing person and I was nervous about holding a conversation with a stranger for four hours. But Yuriko was very easy to talk to and I enjoyed our time together. Definitely hire Yuriko!
