Hi! I am Roberto, born and raised in Siena, a city in the heart of the Tuscan region of Italy. I am a highly dedicated and professional driver. We could not have asked for a better tour guide than Roberto Cannavacciuolo. He was punctual, courteous, and well-versed in all things Tuscany. Roberto was able to get us reservations at two wineries, even though we made our travel and winery tour plans in the last minute. I highly recommend Roberto for anyone wanting to travel around Tuscany.
This was our second day with Roberto where we started with a tour of Siena, where he was born. Siena is not to be missed. After a couple of hours we headed to Castellina in Chianti to visit a Chianti winery set in a lovely setting. After a leisure wine tasting and lunch, we headed off to San Gimigmano for some pictures of the towers. We were able to accomplish a lot in the two days we spent in Tuscany only because of Roberto's careful planning knowing he had two octogenarians as his clients. Can not praise Roberto too much for a stunning two day tour of Tuscany
Roberto Cannavacciuolo was responsive and cordial from my initial contact with him regarding a tailored itinerary, through the completion of several days with him throughout Tuscany. We enjoyed relaxing and insightful drives with him through the country as he drove us to different destinations. He is knowledgeable in the history of the cities, the country and the arts! He is very personable and enthusiastic, sharing his passion for Italy. He tailored our trips and information based on our interests. Roberto was always prompt and went beyond the typical transportation services, i.e. offering assistance in finding provisions (wine, meats, cheese of course) that we needed for our villa stay. Highly recommended.
Roberto is a great guide! Our trip out and into the towns nearby was made all the more interesting with the help of his interest and knowledge about them, and of the routes, places and scenery around. Actually it was so interesting that we would have arranged more time with Roberto if we had had the time. Roberto took us to a beautiful location for lunch and took care of our every comfort. He is so kind and considerate.
