Hello! My name is Stella, I was born in Siena Tuscany and spent most of my life in this gorgeous city where I live with my two kids. I am an official tour guide in Siena, the Chianti, San Gimignano and the Valdelsa, Montalcino, Pienza and the Valdorcia and Montepulciano and the Valdichiana in Italian, English and Spanish. I received my B. A. in humanities from the University of Siena with a Major in English and South American literatures mastering with great passion art and history and my MBA in tourism economics from Bocconi University in Milan. At the conclusion of my studies, I received a grant to study art and anthropology in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. I travelled in many different countries and enjoyed discovering their artworks, culture and social and political condition. I worked as journalist covering art, travels, cinema, theatre and politics. I was always interested in meeting people and exchange ideas and passions, so that welcoming and guiding guests being a tour guide in my hometown was a great opportunity for me. I've been guiding art and kids tours, wine and food tours in Siena, San Gimignano, the Chianti, Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano from the year 2000 and I'm enjoying my tours every day more! Fully licensed tour guide Siena, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, the Chianti Region Interpreter Italian/English /Italian University Degree in Humanities and Foreign Languages Master in Business and Tourism at Bocconi University Milan

Ok, it's the first time you come and visit Siena and its region and you need to know our city artworks and history just like discovering a treasure through the eyes of a sienese. Excellent! We may start our tour in front of the Basilica Saint Dominic where we will learn about Saint Catherine of Siena mistic experience, reach then the Cathedral of Siena, consacrated 900 years ago to Mary Mother of the Assumption. One of the most beautiful Gothic Churches in Italy where Michelangelo, Donatello and Bernini worked. The Piazza del Campo will be our final goal and we will be immersed in a magic medieval atmosphere learning everything about the Palio Horse Race that takes place here on July 2 and august 16 every year. We will learn about our Sienese painters and sculptors and maybe you will understand what it means to belong to a Contrada district as you will be together with a localtourguide! Siena, a unique town where I'm sure you will love to come back again.
- We will visit the Basilica Saint Dominic (inside), - The Cathedral (inside, entrance fee is not included), - One of the 17 districts of the Palio horse race in Siena with museum, church, stable and baptismal font, - And have a nice treat of the Siena cakes (leaving a donation for the opening of the headquarters for us). And if you have any special interests, please let me know!
