Great job. Handled our late arrival perfectly and we saw all the highlights. Delivered us right on time for our lunch reservation. Wish she would have agreed to eat with us! The headsets were the best I have ever used, highly recommend them.

Ciao, my name is Costanza, I was born in Siena and raised in a village in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. I have two different licences, I am both a nature walks guide and a city guide for Siena and its province, including San Gimignano, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, the Chianti area. After a degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Siena, I spent one year in England working in a National Park. That was an excellent occasion to learn English fluently and become more independent. When I came back to Tuscany I moved to an apartment in the historical centre of Siena, near the beautiful Cathedral and started working in a tourism office in the Chianti area. There I was selling wine as well as helping tourists to find their way on the winding roads of the Chianti hills. I liked so much this experience that I decided to become a professional guide. I have been leading walking tours since the year 2000, working for several American and Italian Companies and enjoying having always new interesting people around. Siena is a beautiful city and I love sharing my knowledge of the history, art and traditions with other people, especially small groups and individuals. I love to eat and I am eager to let you discover the specialties of this area, from "pici" (typical thick home made spaghetti) to "panforte". Just outside the medieval walls of Siena there is a beautiful countryside and you can take a guided walk with me. Walking is very good for you and it is also the best way to visit areas of naturalistic interest, to observe breathtaking landscapes and bits of history up close. I am waiting for you! Licensed city guide for Siena and its province. Licensed nature walk guide for Tuscany. •I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

This tour will take you in the historical centre of Siena, built on three hills and surrounded by 7 Km of medieval walls. This is where I was born and live. We, as modern "pilgrims", will walk along the main street, Banchi di Sopra, which was part of the former "via Francigena", the main communication road linking Northern Europe to Rome. You will visit the impressive Cathedral and its masterpieces inside, and the shell-shaped "Piazza del Campo", the most beautiful square in the world. Exactly there the Palio horse race takes place twice a year. This is a competition among the 17 "contrade" (districts) into which the city is divided. We will also visit San Domenico Basilica, full of works of art. Here is where the head of Saint Catherine from Siena is kept, in a beautiful Renaissance chapel.

Costanza provided us with a very pleasant tour of Siena.
Contanza is a very pleasant, knowledgable, and local resident to spend a few hours with enjoying Siena. I had private tour and it was well worth the expense. Walked the town pointed out historical sites, the markets and when they took place etc. Very enjoyable morning. Will recommend Contanza to anyone looking to tour. Ed
Constantza was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with our group, we're glad we had her as our guide.
Our guide was very knowledgeable, particularly about the contrade of Siena and the upcoming Palio. She also did a great job of adjusting the tour to reflect the fact that it was extremely hot (over 100 degrees F) that day.
Costanza is an excellent guide. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She would be particularly great with Americans.
