Hi there, my name is Silvia and I live in a small cute village of the Chianti close to Siena. I am an outhorized city guide of Siena and Florence as well as an outhorized nature guide of Tuscany. I graduated in foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Siena, English and German. I am an energetic person who loves travel, nature, traditions and good food in Italy, expecially pasta and gelato. . . but not only! I am a mother, so donât worry if you are a family with kids, I know how it is travelling with children and I will be happy to make the tour fun also for them. Overview of your Siena tour
I will take you on a half day walking tour of the downtown core of Siena. This will help orient you and show you some of the unique places and sites of the city, as well as the shell shaped Piazza del Campo and the stunning Cathedral of Siena. We will walk through the 17 Contrade see the main monuments and some secret corners. The itinerary can be customized to your interests, it can be a classic one or off the beaten paths, you can ask me suggestions as well. In 3 hours you can enjoy the town with more relax and decide to investigate further some aspects! I would be happy to also introduce you to the traditional sweets of Siena and other tipycal food. . . and wine:-) just let me know and you will get the perfect mix of art, tradition and food ! Lots of photo and food stops opportunities along the way!

Sylvia is wonderful. We have a great tour of the highlights of Siena including a comprehensive look at the 17 contradas. Silvia provided enough information to make things interesting but did not bore us with too many dates and facts. Siena has a fantastic history and she was able to make it understandable and fun. Sylvia was also very good at pointing out things we could do in our own time. She made sure we saw small things like the electric boxes with the contradaâs âlogoâ which is something we would have missed yet found intriguing. She aso told us of the festival they were having in the evening. A true cultural event in the neighborhood. What fun! We enjoyed Silvia and her welcoming personality. Donât wait to book with her. Sheâs lovely and fun. Highly recommend.
