Hi! I am Roberto, born and raised in Siena, a city in the heart of the Tuscan region of Italy. I am a highly dedicated and professional driver. I am enthusiastic and curious, inspired by my work and delighted when discovering hidden corners and new realities with my clients. I am a "buon gustaio" (literally translated: "good taster") and have extensive experience thanks to my mother's cooking. Meals in my family were the "family briefing"; that moment when excellent food and better wine brought us together for a peaceful rundown of our day. As for the future, I am dedicated to deepening my knowledge and expertise, in particular in the areas of food and wine. We enjoyed this tour so much! My husband and I visited Tuscany on our honeymoon and booked this tour. We enjoyed Roberto and all of his historic knowledge as well as his professionalism on the booking and the tour itself. Would recommend booking him for your trip!
Roberto provided our group with a wonderful overview of the area we toured. Highlights were the tasting at the boutique winery owned by a fourth generation gentleman and a dairy farm where we were hosted by another delightful entrepreneur! Both very memorable. Ended in Pieta which has a rich history. The drive through the rolling hills was by itself worth the tour!
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful day tasting wines at four small Montalcino wineries with Roberto as our guide. We personalized our tour before booking, and Roberto was very responsive and accommodating as we finalized details. Then he selected the wineries to visit, and we were impressed with his choices. The places were all lovely, and we enjoyed much of what we tasted. As we were ahead of schedule, we even had 45 minutes unplanned to wander around Montalcino city center between the 2nd and 3rd stop, which was nice. Roberto was a great guide, knowledgeable about Italian history, about wines, wine making, and the local wineries. But the best part was his attitude: relax, enjoy vacation, enjoy the tastings, and don't feel pressured to purchase. Thank you for a wonderful tour, Roberto! And shout out to Innocenti, which had great wines as well as a wonderful light lunch!
Roberto was a wonderful driver. He was prompt, full of knowledge, took us to everywhere we wanted to see. We asked for lunch at a winery. Roberto arranged for us to go to a gem of a Cortona winery, Cantina Canaio. The wine and food were fabulous and were our hosts. I cannot thank everyone enough & definately recommend Roberto.

What a wonderful tour we had. Roberto was an excellent companion on the journey. His passion for history and Italy coupled with his sense of humor and timing were refreshing and well received by us. Roberto gave us the ability to change the tour a bit which allowed us to visit many smaller villages in Tuscany which was a fantastic change from Rome and Florence. We could not be more pleased with the full day spent touring with Roberto and would highly recommend this to all.
