Ciao everyone! My name is Natalia and I am 100% Roman, born and grew up in this wonderful and vibrant city, in a neighborhood close to the Vatican area where I live with my family. Since I completed the high school I decided to concentrate my studies to the art and archaeology. After my degree in Art History I specialized on Italian Renaissance Art and spent some years of working as museum educator in ancient Roman sites and museums like the Borghese Gallery. In 2008 I began working as tour coordinator for big companies, and in 2010 I passed the examination and got the tourist guide license issued by the Roman Tourism Board/Council. I like arranging and doing personalized tours for groups and schools from Italy and different countries, but mainly for individual clients tailoring every part according to their needs. Often my guests are families or the not-so-youthful travelers, and I really like sharing with them my favorite corners, where to find secret treasures or also family-run restaurants or the best gelato places. I am passionate about so many things... it is impossible to list them all…. food, books, activities with my 7 years old son, travels and art for sure! Have an idea for a customized tour in Rome or in its surroundings? Don't hesitate to get in touch with me and we'll explore the possibilities together. I am looking forward to welcoming you here in Rome and in the Vatican City! Official licensed guide of Rome. Rome's Jewish cultural heritage is extremely rich. In the Jewish district, the so-called "Ghetto" we will see the huge impact that the Jewish community has had on the cultural identity of the city, from the architecture to the culinary traditions. Once we have finished our stroll from the Theatre of Marcellus and the Synagogue to the Portico di Ottavia we will walk to the Tiber Island, once the sight of the Temple of Aesculapius. Finally I will take you to visit the medieval Trastevere district, with its narrow cobblestone alleys, restaurants, cafes and artisan shops, charming area for people who are looking for a taste of the "authentic" Rome. The Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere, one of the oldest churches in Rome, resplendent with magnificent medieval mosaics inside and outside, is the heart of the area. Rome is a city where history does come alive, every street corner has its particular stories and by telling these stories, I will take you to discover the Eternal City!
•Theatre of Marcellus (outside) •Piazza Mattei •Portico di Ottavia •Synagogue (outside) •Ponte Rotto •Ponte Fabricio •Tiber Island •Piazza in Piscinula •Santa Cecilia Church (outside) •Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere The itinerary can be customized as you prefer. Generally in all the Roman historical monuments and churches dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below knees. Do not bring large items(e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas). -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
