Join me as we explore Ostia's wonders: the Roman Theater, grand Baths, fountains, public latrines, Fire Brigade barracks, and temples of various faiths. We'll wander through the Forum, Piazza delle Corporazioni, ancient shops (butcher, bakery, wine shop, and more), and remarkable homes like the House of Cupid and Psyche. Marvel at stunning mosaics, frescoes, and timeless architecture. Ostia offers a glimpse into the vibrant heart of ancient Rome. Let’s embark on this unforgettable journey together!
Your Rome tour itinerary
-Necropolis of via Ostiense -Fire station -Theater -The square of the Corporations -The Forum -Chapter -Mithraeum: Temple of Mithras -Shops: bakery and mill, wine shop, fishmonger, butcher/meat market, laundry) -Latrines -Roman thermal baths -Homes: -insulae blocks of flats, (House of Diana; House of the Auriga…) -domus, detached houses (House of Cupid and Psyche. . ) 3 hours: Ancient Ostia Tour 1 hour: public transportation with me (½ hour from Rome to Ostia and ½ hour to come back) Particularly suitable for kids. -The site is closed on Monday. -The itinerary can be customized according to your needs and requests.
