HI! My name is Manuela and I am a qualified licensed Tour Guide in Rome and Vatican City since 2000. Born and raised in Rome, I am proud and in love with my City and I would love to share my passion with visitors eager to explore the eternal city. That gave me the opportunity to pick up a good accent that makes touring with me very comfortable to follow. I am also fluent in Italian. Mother of two girls, a 25-year-old and a 14-year-old, I can say I have a certain experience with children and to enable them to feel involved and curious. On my tours, I use visual aids such as iPad, overlay books and have taken storytelling workshops. It is my unique way to deliver history in a fun and friendly way that keeps everyone engaged: you will be taken back in time to relive the Ancient Roman Emperors and Gladiators or the exciting life of Renaissance painters and Popes. I love my work and I do it with passion, it enables me to be with people from all over the world when they are at their best moment…. . on vacation. Overview of your Rome tour
A once-in-a-lifetime experience! A tour that offers not only the opportunity to visit the Sistine Chapel with its important frescoes by the great Maestro Michelangelo, my favorite artist, but also the historical heritage of the Roman Church contained within the walls of the Vatican State. This private tour includes the most important Galleries of the Museums, the ancient statue collection with unique pieces that have inspired Michelangelo and generations of artists, the rooms of the Papal apartment aka the Raphael Rooms, Raphael was a contemporary of Michelangelo, of course, the Sistine Chapel. You'll see masterpieces and the magical atmosphere of Renaissance art with full stories of the artists and popes. Tours in the afternoon starting at 2:30 /3:00pm, are most often less crowded, and easier to find entrance tickets During the Jubilee St. Peter's Basilica can be closed for religious events guide is not responsible for this closure.

EXCELLENT tour thanks to Manuela - a FABULOUS tour guide! Manuela's knowledge knows no bounds! From Popes, to art history, to painting & sculpting techniques, to Greek & Roman history, to cartography - you name it, she knows something about it! The best part about Manuela is her love and enthusiasm for Michelangelo (along with Bernini and Raphael)! You can't help but love and appreciate them too by the time the tour is over. Our side Manuela was awesome. She was very knowagable and We were able to see everything. St. Peter's Basilica, the Systine chapel and the vatican museums. Manuela also showed us the ba k staircase and the pope's apartment entrance. I highly recommend Manuela.

Due to new ticketing policies and Jubilee celebrations, Basilica might be open only to pilgrims. Guide is not responsible for closures, and St. Peter's entrance cannot be guaranteed until last minute.
