Hello and thank you for reading about me, Roberta! I was born and raised in Rome, I have dedicated many years of my life to art history and archaeology. I have taken a Degree at the PIAC, the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology. I have worked as a tour leader for leading Italian and American tour operators in Rome. I love my Ancient City and wish to share it with you! My interests in the arts and history fields as a young child led me to start working as a professional tour guide, which I have been doing with great enthusiasm since 2009, when I obtained my licence. I also have a special licence for the Vatican City which allows me to cooperate with many groups and families. If you are visiting the Vatican in the hotter summer months, an applicable dress code for the Vatican would be a t-shirt and bermuda shorts that at least caste a shadow on your knees. As a sign of respect most visitors wear long-sleeve shirts and a pair of long pants.
If you book this tour on Sunday, we will visit St. Peter's Basilica and Castel S. Angelo instead of the Vatican Museums, which are closed on Sundays.
