Hello and thank you for reading about me, Roberta! I was born and raised in Rome, I have dedicated many years of my life to art history and archaeology. Overview of your Rome tour
The Holy Father holds a General Audience most Wednesday mornings in Vatican City at 10:30 a. m. The audience is held in either St. Peter's Square or the Paul VI audience hall. Tickets are required to attend the Papal Audience. I will reserve the entrance tickets which are entirely free for your family in advance of your arrival. Our service includes meeting you at your location (hotel) and transferring you to the event as well as returning you after the event. I will assist you with the crowds that can be very overwhelming for families. As well I can assist in directing the handicapped or disabled people who need assistance with a special entrance away from the crowd. There is a process that I'm aware of to make this special event and enjoyable and memorable day in Rome. I look forward to assisting you with booking this special day in Rome. The audience is a chance to pray with the Holy Father and receive his blessing, which is imparted to all present and to their families and friends.
Your Rome tour itinerary
-Picking up from your location in Rome at an early hour. Arriving at the Vatican area with tickets in hand, we will wait for the security gates to open, as everyone has to go through this process (which are the same metal detectors as in the airports). Then we will be allowed to choose our seating. I will assist you in getting through the large crowds and also stay with you during the Audience to answer questions, point out the main areas that are particular to the square and the event. I am also there to assist you with taking family pictures during the event and assisting you to find the bathrooms on site. Most of the areas are within wooden baracades during the event and it's difficult to get in and out. - After the event, I am there to safely transfer your family out of the crowded area and take you over to visit the shops for Papal Mass items such as blessed items. - After the Papal Audience I will leave you in St. Peter's Square. You should bring in bottle water, coffee or breakfast items to snack on.
