Hi there! I'm Barbara, born and raised in Rome, just a few feet from the Vatican City, I love to travel the world and explore different cultures! With a degree in Architecture and a master degree in Historical Building Restoration, I have been studying architecture and art history for all my life, working for several years to the restoration of some of the most prestigious palaces in Rome. Overview of your Rome tour
This tour is designed for those who want to see all the highlights of Rome and its hidden gems without walking too much. After pick up at your hotel in Rome, we reach the heart of the Ancient Rome, passing by the magnificent Circus Maximus with an amazing view of the Palatine Hill and the Imperial Palace. We stop outside the Colosseum for amazing pictures and then we drive by the imperial Fora to reach piazza Venezia. Here we climb up the Capitoline hill with an outstanding view of the Roman Forum stopping by the Marcellus Theatre. Now it's time to visit piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and toss a coin into the most famous fountain of Rome, Trevi Fountain. Finally we cross the river Tiber to reach the Vatican area, to admire the biggest square in Rome, the magnificent St. Peter's Square, ending our tour on top of the Janiculum Hill, the most panoramic hill of the Eternal City!
