Hello, my name is Kas. Originally from The Netherlands ( although recently I found out I am 90% Scandinavian, but that's another story that I am happy to share with you when we meet in person if you are interested). Working all over Europe and meeting a beautiful young woman who happened to born and raised in Rome, Italy it did not take very long to move to this beautiful city and country. In fact I remember we travelled back and forth for 4 months. Let's face it. It is quite possibly the most beautiful and impressive city in the world , on everybody's bucketlist and with good reason too! Full of life, art, history right under your own two feet and just about everywhere you look, culture, sunshine, seaside and last but not least amazing Italian cuisine. I dare to say it's the best food in the world and of the highest quality. Period. People here do everything with alot of passion and it shows. After my move I was immediately met by a big warm friendly Italian family ( I know it is a bit of a cliché, but hey it is actually pretty cool) some of whom didn't speak English and well at the time my Italian was also almost zero. In hindsight it was pretty funny to be honest. I am still progressing now learning new words everyday as I go. Basically I learned Roman slang. You will notice when you arrive in Italy it is not just a spoken language but also people here use alot of handgestures which all have a different meaning. From my years of working and travelling all over Europe and having been to The United States twice on long trips I found out by my own personal experience that people all over the world all say the same things and worry about the same things, because life is the same! It's just in a different language. So being immersed in a native Roman family; all born and raised here so they all have extensive inside knowledge of the city and it's surroundings. This transpired over to me and got me thinking. Since I am surrounded daily at work and socialise with Italians, I know all the best restaurants, the best places to get a coffee (they call it here a caffè with a è which is an espresso, filtercoffee is called americano here), the coolest spots to visit in every area of Rome and around Rome. Book me as your tourguide and I will share all this inside knowledge with you. My tours are as close as you can get to actually living here yourself. We will stay away from all the massive tourist attractions (there are a 1000+ other tourguides already that offer that) and I will take you to places with local people only. Along the way we will enjoy some amazing Italian food, drink the best espresso, get to interact with Roman natives and share stories about life. I am looking forward to meeting you and hanging out, Kind regards Kas All my tours are private walking tours entirely my own personal creation and therefore 100% authentic and unique. I also work as an entrepreneur all over Europe within the merchandising business at festivals which is where my language and social skills come in good use. They still do. Last but not least I am also a licensed security guard/bouncer in Italy and have worked at events like the Ryder Cup 2023, several major concerts at Circo Massimo(Guns N' Roses, Travis Scott, Springsteen, Imagine Dragons, etc) and the soccer matches of AS Roma and SS Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. All in Rome. In my free time I like lifting weights, going to the beach, hiking, going to nice restaurants and explore Italy together with my woman Giulia. If you want something different, unique and get to experience an authentic local vibe and everyday Roman/ Italian life and culture when in Rome I am your go-to guy!

We go for a stroll through this very interesting neighborhood .To the Romans Trastevere is considered the real heart of Rome, NOT the historic centre . The area is still authentic with some characters roaming around you will see. Along the way we will stop for a coffee and some breakfast at one of Rome's superfamous bars, eat some amazing streetfood and I will show you the cool hidden spots and backstreet characteristics of this area. Get a feel of the authentic vibe and along the way we will exchange stories about life. It's a very lively part of Rome full of good restaurants and delis where you can find the good stuff. Then it is time for an authentic Roman lunch or "pranzo" as they say here. Leave some room for one of the best gelato in town. Come to Trastevere with me to experience the real everyday Roman life. My tours are as close as you can get to actually living here yourself.
